The staff is superfriendly and helpful. I am here the 3rd time and I will always come back. I made great friends here. It is super well located and is very cute decorated with a lot of plants, which gives a really peaceful atmosphere. I am a solo traveler and I felt very safe. Cleanliness is very important for me too, and they do a great job. My single room was cleaned daily. I highly recommend to stay at Maré Mansa.

The guests, staff and volunteers were amazing! My bed was comfortable, the bathroom worked and the common area was really nice too ☺️ I enjoyed my stay a lot and I ended up extending.

Single and double rooms are located on the first floor. While some rooms feel a bit dim, others are much brighter and even more inviting

What I particularly loved about this hostel was the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly and always willing to help. If you need breakfast before 8 a.m., they’ll have it prepared and ready for you in the fridge—such thoughtful care! The cleanliness is outstanding, with my room being cleaned daily. The overall vibe is cozy, relaxed, and hassle-free. Everything works perfectly, including the hot showers and the air conditioning. A truly comfortable and enjoyable stay!

The best place in Itacaré. I highly recommend staying here. The people owning the place and working there are just amazing. They are super friendly and I felt right at home. I love Mare Mansa and I have been here already twice. And I am going again. The hostel is lovely, and very nicely decorated with at lot of plants. A nice balcony with sea view to chill. The Wifi is good, I could work there as well, and it is very clean. The location is great too, and just around the corner from everything. I travelled alone and I felt very safe too, even walking alone at night. They help you with everything and make you feel very welcome. I already miss Maré Mansa and everybody there.

I had a really great time in Mare Mansa. Excellent stuff who made my stay as comfortable as possible. They were always in a good mood and ready to give a hand at anytime. The atmosphere was like family. I felt like home from the first day on. The place is really clean and will be cleaned regularly. It is super safe, too. Breakfast was included and really good to start your day here. Besides that, Mare Mansa is great located in itacare. It is quite but still in the middle of everything. From great restaurants, beaches, shops, bars or party’s. P.S. you should not miss the sunset spot pretty close Mare Mansa.

Great staff! Always ready to give a hand! Great breakfast. Great place to start exploring Itacaré. Very clean and specially very safe! Great located place. From the sunset spot till the beaches, restaurants and party places. I extended my stay a few times here. Can deeply recommend Mare Mansa. It has a great vibe here.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Maré Mansa Hostel, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in many ways! Very warmhearted and welcoming hosts allowed me to meet beautiful new people, and enjoy a comfortable, spacious, safe, quiet and clean home. I would highly recommend it to fellow travelers looking for an beautiful, affordable and sociable place to stay.

This hostel truly feels like a home. The owners and the staff managed to create an amazing vibe, with a very nice common area at the center of the place. Everyone who is working there is so kind, friendly and helpful. Rooms and bathroom are clean, and you have your own locker. The breakfast is delicious, plenty of options, sweet or savoury. I was going surfing very early every day, so there were even preparing my breakfast the night before so that I could eat before leaving - so kind. It is also very safe as you have a key to enter at night, which is greatly appreciated. If you are looking for a place to work, the WiFi works perfectly, you have a lot of plugs in the common area as well as nice tables.

They could offer more options for breakfast but they are short in staff. Only one person was there at breakfast hours and if needed to check out, you should wait for her to get free. Lots of mosquitos!

Nice pousada near the beach where all the fishing boats are located. Walking distance to the town center and places to eat. Clean place and welcome friendly staff. They have shower and a pretty internal area where you can eat and have breakfast.
