How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The road noise was very loud, day and night. If you're a light sleeper I'd suggest earplugs. No windows in the rooms.
A great little hotel. Perfect for the airport. Lovely welcoming staff. The shuttle drops at T2 and then you can get the airport train in the Sao Paulo for really cheap price. There is a supermarket across the road from the hotel and a McDonalds just up the road. The doors are operated with a keypad, so no losing your key.

The person on WhatsApp was not able to tell me where to go for the taxi and suggested I cancel my trip since I was asking how to find it. They eventually sent me photos and said the driver would meet me at the time I told them. The driver didn’t come and nobody responded to my calls or texts. I think the person on the WhatsApp should have been more professional and given the simple information from the beginning and the driver should have responded.
The supervisor was able to find a solution after the situation with the driver. I really appreciated the way he handled the situation, it definitely made me feel happy to stay there after I met him.

They offer a free airport shuttle which is really convenient. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a very nice park close by where you can sit in cute street cafes and enjoy local food. There is also a big supermarket across the street.

My room did not have AC, but a lady working there provided a fan, and the small window did not have a curtain (I think I booked the wrong room). However, it was okay since I only spent a few hours there. Additionally, I did not like the shower because I could not change the water temperature.
I liked that they offer airport transfers and complimentary breakfast (simple but good)

The receptionists said they couldn't speak English when I asked questions, BUT when asked about money exchange, they can answer me because then they could use their phone to translate. Very bad exchange rate.

1. Breakfast should start at 5 am 2.They told me I would have a shuttle to the airport at 5 am and when I went to confirm later on, they told me nothing was confirmed and there was no availability so I had to take my own Uber
Location is just perfect! Very close to the airport in a safe place. Mac Donald’s is just around the corner. The hostel is very clean and organized, they have clean towels and soaps , the rooms are always clean , I stayed only 1 night because of my flights but it definitely exceeded my expectations. I would totally recommend this place!!! The guy from the reception ( I forgot his name) but he is a Brazilian who speak Spanish very well with an Argentinian accent is not just cute but also very kind and attentive with everything. He made my stay very sweet and comfortable

The room smells really really bad. I slept in room which fits only a bunk bed, no ventilation and only a fan. This room has clearly been filled with people, day after day. The room has very strong smell of “people”.
