Staff was friendly and knew some English, which was an unexpected bonus. Rooms were lovely and the e grounds were beautiful. I wish we'd spent some time in the pool but it was a bit too cool. The bar/pool area were nice for reading and my son loved the pool table.

When we first arrived they didn’t have record of our booking, despite being through booking.com. The room we booked had been double booked. This was resolved and a room provided however the aircon in the room given was very loud and I wonder if this is why the room was available when the hotel was otherwise sold out. More fresh options at breakfast would be good - egg station only active for one of our visits to breakfast. I used the last of the granola one day, and the same empty pot was put out the next day without refill. Only water available was 300ml bottles to buy. Would be good if reception sold larger ones but supermarket isn’t far

Amazing location in the old part of Paraty, surrounded by restaurants, easy access to the pier for boat trips, around 10/15 mins walk to the beaches. Pool area and grounds are beautiful, room was clean and tidied each day. Good shower pressure, comfy beds.

Breakfast was acceptable but not amazing. Rooms were clean but pretty small.

Good location although some rooms are close to the noisy neighbouring bar. Gardens are pretty but the pictures are perhaps a bit nicer than the reality.

Breakfast was very busy in the morning - although they brought in additional tables and chairs when there was no space. Our room was good, but slightly small with two suitcases in the room, so would recommend getting a bigger room if possible.

Beautiful Pousada. We loved the hammocks, and the pool and steam room were great to cool down in at the end of the day. Breakfast was lovely and they made omelettes upon request. Staff were very helpful and organised a roundtrip taxi for us to visit Trindade beaches. (we struggled to get an uber after waiting for 30 minutes)

Central location in the old town. Exceptionally clean and spacious room. Amazing swimming pool and common areas. Could not recommend this place enough.

Room smelt musty in bedroom (lack of ventilation), previous occupants rubbish left in a drawer indicating cleaners hadn’t checked the room. Poor security - door access code was room number (!) and room safe didn’t work and took a day to be fixed.

Beautiful location in the old town. Breakfast was good. Lots of communal seating locations around the property. Bed comfortable.

hotel is nice and private, has extensive courtyards with nice little pool, very quiet but central to the old town, the rooms were basic yes, but the A/C was perfect to keep cool from the Rio heat, was quiet and easy to sleep, staff were friendly, cleaning of rooms and overall hotel was excellent
