Nice breakfast and very close to the bus terminal

The 3 bedroom apartment has an inconvenient layout. It is the top floor of the main house where the kitchen is for breakfast. There is an open space from the kitchen to the stairs and rooms, which made it quite loud in the mornings. Is simply 3 bedrooms with doors close to each other, one with an ensuite and another one outside to share between the two other bedrooms.

The rooms and bathrooms were cleaned. They have a beautiful garden where you have breakfast. The location was great, walking distance to a grocery store and downtown.

An absolute gem in Paraty. The hosts are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met, the breakfast is to die for, and everything about my stay was perfect. I’m sad to be leaving — it truly felt like a home away from home.

The hotel staff was very attentive and went out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. Breakfast was great and cozy. The location was also good, a few blocks from the bus station and a 7-10 minute walk to the historic district. AC was also very good, the bed very comfortable, the frig in the room very convenient, and the street very quiet.

That we had to leave

This Pousada exceeded our high expectations. We had a wonderful three night stay with the most hospitable hosts. Jorge took us out on his speed boat for the day around the islands and bays of the area. His wife cooks up the most amazing breakfast every morning. The room was spacious and clean and comfortable. The location is great, on a quiet street only a short walk to the old town. Although we didn’t speak Portuguese and they don’t speak English we were able to communicate well and they went above and beyond to help us out- even taking us to the local bus station and helping to book us tickets to our next destination! We highly recommend staying here. We would love to return one day!

The whole family is lovely there. Meet Elisa, the owner, Jorge her husband, daughter and great-children. Great people, ready to help with tours and everything else. Their pousada is great value for money. Close to the historical center.

The staff went above and beyond despite a language barrier to be helpful and provide information. Breakfast was excellent and changed each day. The room was very generous in size and the shower temperature and pressure were excellent. The location behind the bus station could not have been more convenient.

Super nice owners, the room was very clean and secure, wide selection of breakfast, only a 7 minute walk to the old town. We arrived a few hours early and were allowed to get to our room quickly. We didn’t have a car but there seemed to be plenty of good parking spaces.
