There was a problem with the air conditioning, and the fan made some noise.

The greatest thing about this pousada is the owner and the breakfast she puts out. She's so nice and friendly, and the breakfast has literally about 15 different choices of things to eat plus a variety of drinks.

If you leave any food Out in the Open you have a pretty high Chance that there will be ants all over the food within minutes. But If you are careful and Pack IT Up or Put IT in the frigde you wont See any ants.

The owner is a super nice Lady. She doesnt speak english but with Translation we Made it Work. The room is very Clean. The Location ist pretty good you are able to walk everywhere. You also have a frigde in the room. The breakfast is pretty decent.

None spoke English, the location was so-so, it was good only because it was close to the bus station, oversize would recommend other location.

Great value for money. Not the most salubrious of locations but the locals were really friendly and it felt safe (even though might not have looked safe). Betty was a great host - she clearly loves cooking and looking after her guests. Breakfasts were great - fresh fruit, eggs, cakes - lots on offer

Location is good - close to the main streets but quiet. Breakfast is wonderful - fruits, cakes, juices, eggs, breads etc. Hospitality is outstanding, extremely polite, welcoming, helpful. Daily cleaning service for room. Was able to check in very late which we appreciated. The accomodation isn’t top luxury, but it’s very comfortable, clean and everything works well.

One of the best pousadas we stayed at in Brazil. The facilities are simple but perfectly curated. The room was cleaned every day and the staff made our bed which was such a nice touch. Breakfast included an incredible range of delicious home-made breads, cakes, and freshly squeezed fruit juices. The Pousada is located in the middle of a residential area so we felt like we were a part of the Paraty community. But the real super star of Pousada Brisa do Leste is the wonderful Betti who made us feel so welcome and took care of us like we were family. If you’re looking for an authentic experience surrounded by genuine people, this is the place for you.

We did not manage to get the hot water working in the shower. Suggestions for improvements: add a second bedside table so that both sides of the bed have one. Add bedside lamps.

Clean, comfortable, good pillows, excellent breakfast. Lovely host! Although we only had Google translate conversations. 5 min walk to main bus station and 10 min to old town.

Such a lovely host, who was so helpful and made such a lovely breakfast to start our day off the right way. We decided to stay an extra night and she was so generous and helpful. Location is a very short walk to main historical centre.

A lovely Pousada which really deserves more than a 10 on booking.com. The location is extremely convenient, about a 3 minute walk from the main bus station in Paraty and 5 minute to the central historical area. My room was extremely clean and had every that I needed. The breakfast was an additional highlight which served up some of the best coffee that I've tried in Brazil and finally the review wouldn't be complete without mentioning Betty (the host). She has the perfect level of hospitality, a warm approach, informative suggestions and is an easy to chat with. I would highly recommend Pousada Brisa do Leste to anyone visiting Paraty.

The room was great and cleaner daily. The location was good for the bus station and only 10 mins to town. But the best part was the host! She is amazing, we don't speak Portuguese but we still loved how happy and friendly she was! And she makes the best breakfast! It was a big buffet style plus bits cooked fresh, súper delicious. Best accomadation breakfast we had in 7 months! Highly recomend staying here

It is not a dislike, but just to be aware it is a bit if a walk from the pedestrian streets in Paraty.

Our stay in Paraty was lovely with our host Betty. She is a lovely host and made breakfast for us everyday. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. She had safe and secure parking for our car.

The owner was super nice with us, helping us to find directions, making good recommendations and being super caring with us. The place is super well located near the old town in a quite street. - best home made breakfast ever from our guest-mom (big choice of cakes, toasts, drinks, coffee, coockies, fruits etc.) - very good area to live, 10 minutes walk to the oldtown center, bus station just around the corner etc. - fresh and good smelling sheets as well as towels - very helpful hosts, lot of storage room for suitcases etc. - high (european-like) standard of bathroom and all other rooms - well working air-conditioning

if your room is near the kitchen, you would wake up early as they start to prepare breakfast before 7am. But the room is quiet at night so if you go to bed early, 7am is not too bad.

Betty looked after us like your own mom would. she is so attentive and made us feel really at home. The location is great, in a quiet part of the town yet within walking distance to the old center. The breakfast is full of varieties too. We stayed more nights than planned as a result.
