The hostel felt like it definitely could have been cleaner… my bed was not very comfortable, and I couldn’t sit up in my bed (bottom bunk) which was really annoying. The rooms are also really hot because there is no air conditioning… However, I still really enjoyed my stay, it’s just worth knowing these things before you arrive :)

The staff were amazing!! So kind and helpful :) the breakfast at the hostel was really good, and it’s in an excellent location. I loved the really warm, friendly vibe!

It’s too packed in the rooms and we don’t have enough space to put our stuff. Would be nice to have one bed less (single one) for that purpose. I wouldn’t recommend have stayed longer otherwise. Also having too many people in the same room means it gets too hot

My mattress was very soft and worn down. It takes a few minutes’ walk to the beach, but that’s generally a thing in Itacaré. If you can, get a bike!

Very clean and cute hostel! I stayed for a week and the rooms and bathrooms were cleaned regularly. Lovely small and light-flooded but dry patio (even when it rains), outdoor community kitchen. The staff was super friendly and it was easy to meet new people. I would definitely recommend it! Also right around the corner of the bustling street, but still very quiet!

Quiet and small so wasn’t as much opportunity to meet people but was very relaxing. Room was a bit more expensive than our budget.

Pedro was so friendly and we felt very welcomed, the kitchen facilities were good and bedrooms had strong fans in them. Very clean and safe and calm. Saw little monkeys climbing in the morning!!

The hostel uses the space they have very good. I like that it's close to the center but still has a very chill and rustique vibe. Amazing staff also that helps you with everything. Was going to stay here only for couple of days and ended up staying for almost two weeks!

The only thing missing is a kitchen to be able to cook if need be! Luckily, we could go to a friends to make food a few nights. Eating out in itacare can be expensive because it’s really touristy at this time of year but if you have a look further than the Main Street, there are definitely cheaper options.

I had the best stay at Buddy’s. It was really sad to leave!! We were only supposed to be there 4 nights but ended up staying an extra 3. The location is perfect; everywhere is maximum 10 minute walk away. It’s such a nice space with lots of shade and hammocks to relax. Breakfast is vegetarian which is great - I can’t eat dairy and Gabriel and the lovely ladies in the kitchen very kindly would make me my own portion of the breakfast without butter/cheese etc. Gabriel is also super helpful with recommendations with things to do in town whether that’s finding a surf school or the beach trails. We had a private room which was really comfortable and clean. Thank you for having us - I’ll be back!

The dirty: 1. When I arrived, the linen were stained and I asked to change them. 2. In the bathroom were long hairs, although we were men there. Which means didn't take care to clean throughly towards the welcoming.

The location is great, you have restaurants, stores, and everything you need nearby. The staff is fantastic! The rooms and common areas are super clean and comfortable.
