The pool is not really big enough for swimming, it is more of a plunge pool. Also, the air conditioner in our room was a bit dirty (likely the filter needed to be replaced) so there was some dust coming out of it.

Charming hotel in a beautiful setting. Breakfast was great with choice of eggs, fruits, buffet, and local foods like pao de quejo and tapioca crepes. Room was very spacious and clean. The hotel also helped us organize transfer via private taxi to Paraty from Sao Paolo, which was nice as we got to make some stops along the way.

Our room was a bit small but we knew that before but for two people with 2 big luggages was a bit impossible to fit in and move freely. Also, during some times of the day, the smell of food was coming into our room which was a bit strong in the early morning.we also happened to be there the first night of the Cachaça festival, and the loud music played till the early hours of the morning so if you are going during this festival be prepared, but that’s not the Hotel‘s fault

We really had an amazing time in this accommodation and it is really really beautiful and it is more beautiful than in pictures.Within five minutes You are in the center of the town. Also we can never forget the cakes they baked in the afternoon they were so delicious. The breakfast was also amazingly good and the atmosphere is very relaxing. The girl is really nice and she helped us with everything. The Wi-Fi was also very good in the accommodation. It was one of the best accommodations we stayed in Brazil. Also, the bathroom had a good shower and there was hot water all the time.

Lovely breakfast to start the day with a hot selection to go with the excellent cold buffet and fabulous cake. Carpe Diem is nicely situated just over the river from the main old centre giving it a quiet location and only a 2 minute walk to see the sites. Very helpful advice available and we had a great stay.

Can't flush toilet paper through the toilet and the sign that said so was a bit hidden. So we flooded the toilet.

Unique hotel at a great location. It's a few minutes walk from downtown. Thus nice and quiet yet close access to downtown. The hotel is a very relaxed place to hang out and rest. Great breakfast and tea time. Highly recommended

This hotel is amazing! The garden is beautiful, the rooms are very nice, breakfast is great, they serve afternoon tea and the staff is so friendly! They gave good suggestions for very nice restaurants in the city and they offer many tours in the area for during the day. Location is few minutes walking for the center and you can park your car at the property. Everything exceeded our expectations

BUT we were woken every morning by the staff preparing breakfast on the ceiling above us could hear them walking back and forth on the floor boards as we were underground BUT the wooden double bed squeaked every time I moved, which woke my son up who was sleeping on the sofa bed

the location is perfect, very close to the historic centre, but also quiet the hotel and room was beautiful - the furnishings and artwork are amazing the staff were lovely and helped us with travel from Angra dos Reis and back to Rio airport the gardens were very peaceful and well tended, we didn't use the the pool as we went to the beach breakfast was lovely - a lot of home-made items eg bread and jam, and cake at 5pm the price of beer and water in our fridge in room was very cheap

Just by the center, they created a small paradise with great attention to details. Free breakfast and afternoon tea and a sense of very calm atmosphere. The staff super friendly and always available. They helped us with luggage. Thanks a lot and we will be back!

We had an amazing stay here. All the staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming.A perfect location to explore Paraty. The breakfast was delicious. The whole place is immaculately clean and very peaceful. Just a wonderful place which we would highly recommend. Thank you for a perfect stay.

Such a beautiful place. If you are contemplating staying here, don't hesitate, do it. The rooms and surrounding gardens and pool area are stunning and so relaxing. The breakfast was divine, and the staff are lovely. Between 5-7pm a delicious afternoon tea is served, and a lovely calico gift bag awaits you on arrival. It's these personal touches that make this place a stand out. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Unfortunately we had a leak in our room so we had to move twice, but it was handled by the team as efficiently as possible.

Absolutely wonderful boutique hotel, beautiful and cozy. Very friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location at the entrance to historic center within walking distance from all attractions. Reach and tasty breakfast, the best coffee we had in Brasil.

Location, near city center and away from noise. Amazing garden, beautiful common spaces, well maintained and clean. That staff was incredible, Renata was extremly helpfull, suggested us one of the best day trips we ever had. Even we had a small room, was super cozy and nice. The tea and cake from 5pm-7pm was a treat that everybody enjoyed.
