I am sad to leave Pousada Corsaria.

Everything! The pousada and the room smelled divine. The bed was super comfortable, the location is great and the staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast has an amazing variety of food every day, and the cook, without prompting, came to us to ask if there is anything she could cook for us that is not available. I enjoyed watching the birds play in the garden whilst relaxing in the hammock.

Our room didn’t have a lot of privacy but that’s what we expected. In any case, rooms vary greatly, even in the same category (or booking type), so I’d suggest to be clear on what you request. The first room that was offered to us was not good for us, but we asked to change and it was fine. Also, being in a colonial complex, amenities are not the most modern (eg lack of plugs etc) but that is also to be expected

Old colonial style boutique hotel, along the river. The location is great, within a short walking distance from the old town. The bed was comfortable abd the room had a nice terrace overlooking the pool and the river. The breakfast was served in a communal area and was okay - there was a lot of choice but mainly sweet.

Very cosy and charming accommodation with very good location! 5 min walk for a big bus stop (busses coming from Rio De Janeiro Center, Angra Do Reis,…). 5 minutes walk to the cozy tiny city center! Only 1 street ahead. Rooms are very nice, big enough and everything works perfect. Airconditioning works very well! Great reception with very nice staff who also speaks English Breakfast is AWESOME! A good various buffet with fresh juices, fruits, different kind of bread, sweet & salty options enough… all local food, we loved it! Every day during breakfast they offered new food/dishes. I would really recommend this place! It’s surrounded by nature.

Room was quite small and the window opened right onto an area where lots of people walk past - it wasn’t a big deal but just had to keep the window closed until we were ready. It was worth the price for the pool and setting but the bedroom was tiny as was the bathroom.

Beautiful setting right on the river. Pool is great and a lovely place to relax. Breakfast also good with lots of options. Had lunch and drinks by the pool one day and it was tasty. Hotel is a short 8mins walk into the old centre which was great

Everything about this Pousada was exceptional. From arrival, throughout our stay, to departure, the staff were all super helpful and friendly. Our rooms were very comfortable indeed and the breakfast was delicious.
