Terrible elevator style music by the pool

Lovely hotel right on the beach. We were upgraded to the suite with our own large terrace and jacuzzi. Helpful staff particularly Mario at reception, who organised transfer service for us too.

Very expensive for an upper mid range experience. Clean and nice, but hospitality is lacking. From initial check in to in room instructions to breakfast, the focus of all messaging is on rules and what you are not allowed to do which can be off putting.

Only one complaint - the room had been renovated recently - but for some unknown reason the balcony and wardrobe sliding doors still had the original worn out mechanisms - and consequently were difficult to open and shut. A shame as the cost of new runners must be marginal

This is an absolutely charming boutique hotel, situated next to the beach. The staff are all genuinely friendly and helpful. It could not have been better. Definitely worth getting a room with a sea view - it’s not a noisy or busy beach so there are few disturbances

The pousada was in great location close to beaches and shops. the pousada had good breakfast included.

I think it needs better maintenance. It does look a bit forgotten, unfortunately. The sauna wasn’t working, the pool wasn’t looking clean, bedroom pretty basic.

Staff is great, good location and a good structure overall. Food was good too.

The variety of food and drinks for breakfast was adequate, but unfortunately they didn't serve any good tea. I would have preferred a wider variety of healthy, continental breakfast, but of course I do understand that this is South America. The rooms were quite spartan and worn. The shower was mounted and had little pressure, and the toilet came with a warning to throw paper in the bin. That sets the standard. During our three night stay, the rooms were not cleaned AT ALL. We had to collect new towels from reception every night, as we were expecting a refill and had thrown our (sandy) towels on the floor for replacement. The minibar was filled, but one water bottle was half full from a previous guest. The matresses were uncomfortable and had a protection sheet which felt rather plastic. The rates were too high for its value.

Lovely location, directly on the beach. Pool at the hotel. Restaurants nearby (we didn't try those). A short uber ride to the center of town with its nice shops, restaurants and nightlife. It was nice to sit outside and enjoy the view from our breakfast table. The room was large. The pool had a nice sitting area and the beach was easily accessible though a gate. It was nice to receive a whatsapp message from reception with a list of information on things to do. We requested more info on the massages and were not dissappointed. Highly recommended, as their masseur holds a very high standard.

Breakfast fair, but not much variety. Covered pool and spa facilities without maintenance. Play area with pool game and mini soccer without the implements to play near.

The location was good, in front of Ossos Beach.

Whole facility felt old and tired. Bathroom was quite grungy and the room was very small. Bed was super hard and only had a sheet (which we are discovering is pretty typcal in Brazil)

Great location right on the waterfront. Nice views from the pool area which overlooks the bay/beach. Staff were generally friendly despite not speaking any English.

There too many mosquitoes at night due to being very near of a lake. Also I feel it’s a place for older people, the average age was between 55-65. In fact, when I was staying at this property a group of 40 old people came and as they wanted to have breakfast all together the owners of the recommend us to have breakfast 1 hour later of the usual schedule.

The photos are absolutely not the same as advertised. First the pool was very dirty and due location, the passer-by’s were watching inside the hotel (as a woman I felt trapped and uncomfortable). The cleaning was also poor inside the room (the hairdryer had hair from previous guests 🤮). It was so expensive to such a low quality place. Finally the breakfast was below advertised. I do not recommend this hotel
