The waters in minibar weren’t complimentary but I just learned that during checkout. They should have made that more clear. Not a big deal tho

Bed was ok but not great. Not many plugs in the room and lots of mosquitos everywhere. Difficult to get the right temperature of the shower too.

Great location, lovely staff and beautiful old building with a lovely garden and pool. Room was big and comfy. We liked our stay and I'll probably come back.

Probably the best location in Paraty as right in main historic square. The Pousada is an attraction in itself: beautiful, historic mansion with a lot of indoor and outdoor space for relaxation. Old wood floors, furniture. Fantastic swimming pool: clean, well maintained, water cool but not cold. Rooms are basic, but I understand this is part of the charm of staying in a place like this. There is no glass in the windows, so light sleepers better bring ear plugs. Beds comfy. Spacious bedroom and shower with right pressure and hot water. Breakfast was adequate: a missed a piece of cucumber and tomato to put on my bread. Coffee could have more intense taste. Overall loved staying in the place. Highly recommended.

The room didn’t have glass windows, but mosquioto netting. It is very old, which is a part of the charm, but wouldnt recommend if you prefer «modern luxury».

This hotel is so beautiful and authentic! Feels like staying at a museum. If you like quirky old things this is just your place. The service was excellent 24/7. With people very helpful at the desk as well as people by the pool offering fresh towels and beverages. The swimming pool feels like a oasis in this beautiful colonial city.

Beautiful grounds! Super fancy decorations . Was an old mansion . Room is small but has everything you need . Excellent breakfast and super kind staff. Loved Paraty!

The room was let down by a small and dingy bathroom that really needed to be updated. The same for the other two rooms our kids were staying in. The mattresses were also very hard and uncomfortable.

A beautiful historic guest house located in the heart of old town. The Pousada features an amazing collection of antiques that have been carefully curated to create a warm and welcoming environment. The room was spartan but pleasant. The staff were really helpful and welcoming.

I had a room upstairs in the loft with small loft windows and no view … but in fairness, it was the last room that was available.

The location was perfect … in the old town and easy to walk to restaurants and the little “harbour” and river bobbing with colourful boats … gorgeous old building with loads of character. The breakfast was good.
