There are some strict rules telling that you can't take any breakfast item away, if you stink your sheets you will be charged extra etc. You don't wanna have several rules around you when you are on holiday. It should be okey to take your bread along if you can't finish it instead it going to trash + sheets are for using, then they can be washed.

Staff was very helpful, even got my tension checked when I told them I am feeling sick. They were very helpful responding to our requests. They have a steam sauna + pool - which was nice to use in one evening

The room for 4 people could be bigger and the maintenance in the bathroom could be better

The location is the best, very close to the historical center. The shower was hot, the room had AC, the hotel had a game room (with board games and TV) and parking (across the street but close enough) and they served breakfast. I was glad my room was on the ground floor as I didn't see an elevator. The pool was not big but it was pretty and clean

Simple accommodation in small rooms. Lots of signs with pointing out limitations and threats to charge additionally, e.g. for stains in towels or taking out food from the breakfast.

The personnel even at the réception only speak portuguese so the communication was not that simple. There was some hole in the jacuzzi due to a broken handle but it was functional.

The place is nice, very well located, the small swimming pool was nice too, there is a sauna that opens at 4pm but we didn't have time to go. The jacuzzi in the bedroom was enjoyable ! The beeakfast has a lot of choice !!

Gina is the owner and happens to be a very special lady. She takes care of absolutely everything - especially her lovely garden. The hotel was extremely comfortable, super clean and rooms were spacious. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breaksfast was top notch, with a wide variety of options ranging from cakes to fruits to free sugar and no gluten foods.

The Wet Sauna was regular. It did not heat up to the necessary temperature for a great experience. The rooms were very small and the bed was small for me with my 6.2"in height.

The breakfast was simple but good and had all necessary ingredients for a healthy and satisfying meal. The location was pleasant and we were very satisfying.

Avoid staying in rooms 101-106 (esp 103, my own room randomly chosen by the property) since there is a sitting area right in front of it and a lot of people sit there and chat, possibly waking you up or preventing you from sleep. The room is a bit tiny and claustrophobic (3 beds, 2 adults + 1 yo). Cleaning was not super top quality - I found an unknown product from a previous guest under a bed while looking for a ring! I could also swear that I saw hair fibers on the sheet that belonged neither to me nor my husband, but I decided to strongly overlook that - maybe his leg hair?? Who knows.

Perfect location, basically in the heart of the historical center. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast is simple but good enough. Apparently, renovations have been done recently. The pool looked very clean, although much smaller than it looks in the pic. There were nice plants all around, and the decoration is typical of the city's crafting style. You can rent pool and beach towels for a cheap price, too. The fridge in the room is not previously furnished with drinks, but you can get them at the reception and bring them into the room. They'll charge everything at the end of your stay. The parking lot is really close by, just a few steps away on the other side of the street. Good room service.

Place is a bit rundown as it is older and could benefit from a touch up. The breakfast room felt a bit old and cramped, this could be a lot more cozy.

Nice pousada in the center of Paraty. It's close to the colonial center and the staff are very helpful. Rooms are small, but clean.

Many rooms including mine were next to a very loud noise day and night, which was long but not happening often and that came from some water pumping facility (or evacuation of used water maybe?) That was located in the outside corridor of the hotel.

Location is great, room was very clean, all things worked pretty well. Breakfast is ok and not marvelous as i have read.
