Breakfast: lots of food with no explainers (hard to understand ingredients and taste) Language: hard to communicate with the staff since they do not speak English; Room: the lights were not enough when it was dark. Nice carpet, I would remove it for better hygiene.

We did not meet a lot of typical backpackers, but we were there in the low season so do not let that scare you off! Also, the breakfast was so good I had some issues choosing what to eat :)

Nothing honestly

The rooms, the views, the staff, the breakfast - all amazing. Olivier and the staff made this stay amazing. Conveniently located within a few minutes walk of a couple lovely beaches, a plaza and mini markets, you will lack for nothing.

The men's communal toilets were locked without any explanation although there were several alternative coed toilets available. Not really a problem in fairness.

There weren't many restaurants open at night near the hostel, though it had many resto-bars so i guess it compensated for that. I liked everything.

Everything was great, the building is right in front of the beach, and there was a lot of movement in the neighborhood during the night so it was very safe. The breakfast has many options to choose from. Would book again.

WiFi could be stronger.

This is my second time staying here and my room was even better this time around. I was on the 3rd floor with a balcony and wonderful sea views. The breakfast here is honestly amazing. I’ve been staying at various hotels in Bahia/ Salvador and this is the most generous spread. If you need to work there are tables downstairs with lots of sockets.

Shower not hot enough, towels too harsh/scratchy, balcony door cannot be locked, no bedside table light, TV too small, no elevator.

Big room with lots of natural light, spacious shower, close to beachfront, comfortable bed, fantastic breakfast, good WiFi.

I got a room with sea view, there was a football court right in front of it as well, which was really nice to see over a very nice size terrace, The bed was very comfortable and the curtains really block the sun, which was amazing for our sleep, We thought that maybe the noise from the street would be loud but at any moment we had a problem with that, the window sound isolation was really good. The air conditioning works perfectly, The breakfast was delicious with many options, and I asked for more tapioca doughs (bolinho de tapioca) as it was over (those were my favourite with some coffee!! ) and Vânia, really friendly staff in the kitchen, made sure to make some hot and freshly made ones, I was really happy when Edilio went to our table to let us know it was ready!!! By the way the staff was really helpful and friendly, shout. Out to Edilio who was really attentive to our needs and helped with the luggage and everything else. The space is really beautiful full of beautiful arts, Latin inscriptions, and even some good tasting lounge Brazilian and French music. Our room was really cleaned and we had a very peaceful stay, the only complaint I would tell the owners of the property is that sometimes we could smell urine in the bedroom for some reason even though it was all cleaned, we do not know if it was from outside or not but it did not interfere too much on our stay.
