Wasn't a big issue for me, but some in our party were a little put off by the birds in the breakfast room! A few mesh cloches to cover the fruit platters might be helpful.

We stayed in the suites, which were fab. Probably the nicest hotel rooms we had in Brazil. Loved the whole vibe of the place and would definitely return.

It was an absolutely gorgeous hotel with well appointed rooms, beautiful location, extremely friendly staff, close to town, but yet far enough away. Absolutely fantastic stay.

The staff were extremely helpful (they didn't speak any English but we got away with Spanish) and offered us a room with a sea view at no extra charge! The best part about this hotel is the pool area and the view across the bay. Free kayak and snorkeling too! Breakfast was good, Drinks were great!

I can only praise this "pousada" - from the service to comfort to location! Breakfast was simply to die for, showcasing all the typical (and delicious!) Brazilian gastronomic delicacies! 😋😋 I recommend 100%!!!

The breakfast room is right above the room we were in. This meant that from about 7.30am there was the noise of chairs scraping. No kettle, but there was a hob with pans to be able to heat water. The door to the veranda and the shutters for the bedroom windows were made of fixed slats. There were large gaps between these that insects could easily come in via. We did not have a problem as the weather was a bit cooler and windy while we were there, and we did not have any issue with insects, but I wondered if this could be a problem in their summer. Some of the bicycles did not work so well.

Very comfortable beds. Lovely view from our room overlooking the sea. The room had a nice veranda. Lovely breakfast (though the birds were enjoying it too!). Canoes and bicycles available that were free to use. Coffee available for free from the bar area. Boat trips were available if wanted. Wifi was fine.

We had an amazing stay at Pousada Jamanta. We were upgraded to a much larger room which was a lovely surprise and the view from our balcony was beautiful. The free kayak and paddle boards were a great addition as we spent a lot of our time exploring the water and beaches near the hotel on them. The staff in both at reception and in the restaurant were super friendly and helpful and we felt right at home. Breakfast was also delicious every morning.

The photos on Booking.com can't express accurately the beauty of the place... trust me, its a real paradise.

The place is even prettier when you are there in person. Everything is organized and clean, the restaurant is fabulous. I will definitely be back as soon as I can.

Great base for exploring Angra dos Reis, clean and well-equipped rooms, very friendly staff that really goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. With so many activities offered and a splendid pool/bar area we did not want to leave.

The shower was difficult to control to a warm temperature.

The location was amazing, unbeatable views from everywhere on the property. The pool and dining right on the water was also a special touch. The access to the canoes and paddleboards made our stay extra special as we were able to experience the marine life such as fish and turtles on a much more close and personal!

Air cons are a bit old but they do work properly. Parking is also a bit hard as there were too many cars parked there.

Everything was excellent. We were very well treated, staff was lovely, breakfast was great and loads of variety. The pool and the view absolutely stunning.

The resort was fantastic. It was well equipped with pool, sauna, pool table, many activities. The food at the resurgent was great and the service was even better. Our room got upgraded to the Casa and it made the stay an unforgettable experience!

The music at the pool and at dinner didn’t match the ambiance. It was too loud and the music made it hard to have a conversation. The audio quality was also pretty bad. So we ended up sitting away from the dinner set up or in our room.

Breakfast was great. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Diving was also great. Everything was super organized and clean.

I want to live here! This place is gorgeous and the water is right outside your door. They have kayaks, paddle boards, snorkeling gear and bikes for guests to take and use any time.

Had some issues with the bathroom, a very weak flushing toilet and a leaking sink.

The pool, the view and the boat rides they provide are superb. The location is also awesome, and you can go out to enjoy some exercise and explore the city.
