Accommodation is simple

Great location to access some of the natural pools and cascades on foot, but it's a hard uphill walk from the centre of the town, not for the faint hearted! (But you can also drive). Great breakfast

The moment I had to leave ☹️

Everything was great at the Pousada from the spacious room, private bathroom to an overall very clean place! Location is a little further uphill from the center in a residential and friendly neighborhood. The owner Rilk spoke perfect English and was always willing to provide assistance with tours or any other information. The provided breakfast is delicious and changes daily. All the staff was friendly and attentive and took great care of us. It's a family run business with soul. Left there feeling like I was saying goodbye to friends!

The breakfast was reasonable, although similar each day - although, as mentioned above, a new item was added at once in response to a suggestion.

The place was quite difficult to find - as most places doubtless are on arrival in Lençois: the town is a labyrinth, and the strangely paved streets make a bumpy distraction when trying to follow less-than-perfect GPS applications. However, on arrival the manager (who speaks effective-enough English for necessary exchanges about places to visit and so on) was both friendly and extremely helpful in resolving a problem we had with the rental car we travelled in. He also responded at once to a suggestion we made to him about adding variety to the decent, basic breakfast we had each day. The place was of a good standard for this type of accommodation, and well priced, with all the basic services functioning effectively. The condition of the bed was excellent, which always seems to me a fundamental requirement for an enjoyable trip, and the wi-fi worked well. A word of warning: this is a quiet place and if you and/or friends are looking for a place to 'party', or like late-night conversations or music, this is not the place for you. (There are many other places in town for this.) Guests are expected to be quiet from 21:30, which we and other guests very much appreciated, and allowed us the nights of good sleep necessary to fully enjoying the wonderful walking in the landscapes of the park during the day.

Could do with flyscreens on the window and the downstairs rooms can get noisy with early breakfasters if you’re keen on a lie-in. It’s at the top of a hill, which is just a note, not a negative.

Amazing staff, wonderful breakfast, clean cool rooms and a an easy laid back feel to the stay. Close to the Serrano swimming holes. Would highly recommend this Pousada.

The guesthouse is a short walk up a slight hill from the bus station, but it’s well worth the effort. Alternatively, you can take a local taxi for convenience. If you’re traveling with wheeled luggage, be aware that the cobblestone streets may make the walk a bit tricky. Also, watch out for traffic, as there are no road markings. Our room was lovely, featuring double-aspect windows with a fantastic view. It was spotless and felt very new. One minor drawback is that the windows are actually shutters, not glass, so some outside noise does filter in. However, since the guesthouse is on the edge of town, the noise wasn’t too disruptive. This design is due to the building’s listed or historical status, which adds to its charm. The manager was very friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed. Breakfast was simple but plentiful, providing a good start to the day. Being on the edge of town, the guesthouse is a bit of a walk from the bus station, but it’s conveniently close to natural pools and local hiking trails. There are also plenty of restaurants and shops just a few minutes’ walk downhill. I would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay in Pousada Estrelar especially because of the very kind staff. You can contact them anytime and they are ready to help you with whatever you need!! They offered to bring our luggage to the busstation so we didn’t have to carry it ourselves, as the location of the hotel is a bit up hill. Furthermore the rooms are specious and super clean. The bed is big and very comfortable and we had a beautiful view from our room.
