I loved waking up and opening the huge wooden windows to let the sunshine in and see the amazing garden view. Beto is an amazing, friendly and super helpful host and the breakfast was so delicious!

Our room at first was full of mosquitos. But it improved over time as they made mosquito socket available.

Breakfast was very good, with homemade food. Location was great, walking distance to two beaches and also close to the city center.

It was a nice stay surrounded by a small jungle including a nice cat and a loving dog, which I very enjoyed. The staff was very friendly and helpful serving us with a great breakfast.

I loved the location and tranquility of the pousada! It is close to xaréu to see the sunset and also close to other main points in town but it is quiet at night. For me this is the best place to stay in Itacaré! The breakfast was also amazing with lots of options. Everyone was really nice and accommodating the best place to relax for a few days on vacation.

Loved this Pousada so much I stayed a second time. 🥰 Beto and Mari are very welcoming and great hosts. The Pousada is right by Concha beach and Pituba street (shops, food, entertainment) and still feels like a peaceful paradise. Great recommendations for surfing and tourism.

Very nice place run by very friendly people. Beto and Fernanda (I hope I remembered her name right) and all the staff were very nice to us. The room was perfectly clean, the breakfast was excellent, the place is very close to the Concha beach and also the main pedestrian street of Itacaré, so actually it really has the perfect location. Overall it was a very nice place to stay.

Our room lacked a balcony & hammock. The room was too small for 2 women sleeping in separate beds: 1 double/1 single w/no chairs to sit on.

A lush & tranquil environment...Rustic & tastefully decorated....a Zen ambiance throughout....superb cafe de manha w/amicable staff!

We stayed a week and enjoyed the pousada very much. The building and our room were so beautiful and built with good taste. The garden is lush and so green with extremely important trees to give shade. The breakfast is excellent and plenty. Owners and staff are helpful and friendly. We loved the balcony with a hammock, too The location is really good to reach the best beaches as well as the town's restaurants. We have been backpacking for over 40 years and Guaiamum is one of the best accommodations we have had.

Really nice apartment incl a hamock inside and a small balcony embedded in a very green surrounding with lots of trees; location wise you are quickly at all the relevant places in Itacare and the staff was super friendly and helpful (and the main person, Betu, was also very good with English)

Unfortunately we can't give an 11. We really had a perfect stay. Breakfast was delicious and made with a lot of love. The room was big and had everything it needed. The whole house has an amazing charm. One best places we stayed in of all Brasil.

The pousada is homey and probably the friendliest place I have stayed at. I stayed there 3 times, that’s how much I loved it and felt welcomed! The atmosphere of this pousada is relaxing and comfortable. Clean rooms, delicious breakfast which was plentiful and always served with a welcoming smile. Literally everyone who works and lives there were very welcoming and kind people. What stood out most though was Beto (the owner) and his help and expertise. He really goes out of his to help his guests to have a good time in Itacaré. I truly appreciated that! I highly recommend and I personally will be back again!!

I had an amazing stay at Guaiamum! I really felt at home and they did make me feel I was part of the family. Very friendly and gave me great tips about what to do around etc. The breakfast was delicious! Healthy and tasty with great gluten free options! My room was super quiet with a great outdoor space where I could relax on the hammock. Loved the nature around, birds, flowers etc, just magical! I met other nice guests and we stayed friends after the trip! The location was just perfect. Super close to Concha Beach and very easy walk to supermarkets, bar, restaurants, etc. I highly recommend Guaiamum and would love to stay there again when I’m back in Itacare!

Serious Hygiene Issues! My girlfriend and I both suffered a severe case of food poisoning after either drinking the filtered water served at breakfast (which we were assured was safe) or consuming the breakfast itself. Our condition was serious enough to require medical attention, and the diagnosis of food poisoning was confirmed by the hospital. The only food/drink we had in common was this hotel. Additionally, the bathroom was plagued by a persistent and overpowering stench of sewage, which entered through the bathroom window.

Beautiful rooms and especially the balconies. Housekeeping did a fine job of cleaning the room. The breakfast had an interesting variety of different foods.
