I would have liked more variety in the breakfast, the bed was not comfortable and the bathroom door would not close.

The location is great, right on the beachfront. The room had great views, good size, hammock, chairs for sunbathing, closet and minibar. The inn has a great staff that is attentive and friendly at all times. The food is very good and the quality and price is better than the other beachfront places. The pool is big and always clean. It is a few minutes from downtown to go out for a drink or listen to music. The complimentary coffee is a great detail for the guests. Finally the owner and manager are very friendly and attentive to details. I would definitely come back to this place!

Considering the amazing place where Luar Da Praia is located, the very good standard of its restaurant, the nice swiming pool and outdoor furniture, if the owners could improve the furniture of the rooms and the bathrooms, they could be having a 5 stars pousada in a great site.

The place is a paradise. Rooms are in front of the sea, with easy and short access to the beach. The palms, the swiming pools, all in this Pousada is arranged for a perfect seaside holliday. And the restaurant, offers typical brasilian food of great quality at affordable prices.

The WiFi was aweful. First, the password they have posted in the rooms in not correct. Next, the WiFi did not work at all in our room. We had to go outside by the pool to get connected. This was particulary problematic as I needed to contact my bank about a problem with my credit card, and I had to do it by the pool with no privacy. They said they were working on it but it never got better. The location is quite isolated. It's good for a few days but most shops are closed until the weekend. Many restaurants were not open.

Breakfast was good. The room was large and comfortable with ample storage and outlets for charging phones and tablets. The balcony was huge and a great view of the ocean (we had a double room which could sleep 4 so it was huge for the two if us). Staff was very friendly and helpful.

- crowded breakfast room - the bathroom in our suite smelled awful each day after we took a shower. Must be something wrong with the pipes - staff does not speak English - only few sunbeds / umbrellas --> a bit of a run to catch one each morning

The hotel is located between a river and the beach. The staff were very helpful. They have restaurant, pool, sun bath space with sun guard areas.

Dinner schedule could be extended at least one hour. But, overall it was good. Same for breakfast schedule, but, again, this is not a game changer.

The fact that this place is literally in front of the beach makes it an absolutely valuable choice for a vacation. The staff was incredibly attentive and always wanting that you are comfortable and well served.

We had an issue with our room on the 1st day, but Verónica (the manager) was very helpful and changed us to another room, which was perfect. The staff is always willing to help.

This was our second time at Pousada Luar da Praia. It's a small hotel, perfect for families and for couples looking for some peaceful time by the beach. The staff is excellent, the swimming pool and direct access to the beach are the main differentiators here. The breakfast has lots of different cakes and local typical food. The restaurant serves delicious food during the entire day amd evening, also a plus so you can relax at the beach the entire day. The beach has many turtle nests, and you can see turles hatching if you are lucky! The sunrise early morning is just amazing as well, definitely worth waking up early to enjoy it!
