The charming atmosphere and comfortable commons area was exceptional. The staff were very helpful and breakfast excellent. In a gated area within walking distance to most of the main city highlights.

Absolutely stunning property with all necessary amenities. Breakfast was delicious with so much choice. The leisure rooms were very cozy and the different seating areas around the outside of the property look onto the most beautiful views of Itaipava.

The rooms were spacious, although the bathroom was a bit small. Everything was very clean including the pool. The views from the property are stunning and the various plants, trees and bushes planted around the property make it even more stunning. There were a couple of days where we didn’t even leave the property because it was so peaceful.

Fantastic room with beautiful views. Great bed and the room had different lightings and knobs to hang your things on. The place is located in a nice and quiet area. Staff was lovely. The garden was beautiful and really well kept.

If you are looking for something modern, this isn’t going to fulfill that. Bathrooms are small and practical and beds are simple but comfortable. Everything is tastefully decorated and clean,I really enjoyed it.

This is a more than 100 year old building that is absolutely stunning in its landscape and design. It is clean and beautifully kept. I loved the property and staff was super friendly and helpful.

It's a bit further from the centre than I had imagined and up a big hill. There was a smell of cigarette smoke in the hall which came into our room. There were people talking loudly by the pool under our window at night.

It's a beautiful place, peaceful, well-kept, clean. Comfy bed, heating in the room. Nice breakfast outside in the sunshine.

Breakfast could have more variety of fruits (there was only papaya in the 2 days we stayed there). The sink in the bathroom was too shallow.

staff is very friendly, smart, professional, go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. it’s also close to nature, clean air, beautiful gardens, lots of birds singing early morning, lots of trees and a pool, Good and healthy breakfast, cakes and natural yogurt and juices made locally.

Besides the selection between Tapioca, Cartola and Eggs, the breakfast was pretty average and nothing special. The bathrooms were above Brazilian standard, but a bit dated.

Quiet holiday spot with friendly staff who gave helpful tips for a small tour. Location is on a hill with a great view over the city in a safe neighbourhood with security. Just 10mins walk from the city center and all touristic spots!

The location is up a steep hill so walking in and out of town is more challenging. The rooms are quite dated to be honest and the beds are hard. The bathrooms also need some updating. Our bathroom was tiny for such a large room however every room looks different so not necessarily true of every room.

The staff are really very kind, charming and helpful. The garden and views are lovely.

This Pousada needs seriously a renovation to upgrade its facility to the same level as price it charges. If John Cleese would enter this Pousada it immediately would be the perfect sceene to shoot the 13th episode of Faulty Towers. One example: the beds has planks as bottom instead of a nice comfortable boxspring. The rooms are super small and all attributes are from the 70’s. The television is probably 20 years old and has the size of a magazine.

The location and view over the city of Petropolis is amazing.
