One tip would be to have the tea and coffee service during the whole day.

The whole building and entourage was just amazing! Wooden floors, chandeliers, artwork and so on. The location couldn’t have been better in a quiet street in het center. In one full day Petrópolis you can see all the sights.

I liked everything. The only thing I'd say it could be better is the water potency in the shower, but being an antique building, I believe it has more to do with plumbing than anything else.

Amazing breakfast, room and overall ambiance. Staff is pretty helpful and polite. It is close to lots of attractions and we did almost everything without the need of a car.

The inn is beautiful. Our room had great balcony views and the bed was comfortable. We had breakfast every day which was delicious and they even set up a tea service in the afternoons with tea and cake or cookies.

Parking was okay, but not great. There could have been more space. The sink in the bathroom was too high.

Breakfast was very good, no complaints here. The location was excellent. The staff were marvelous. The location of most rooms on the ground floor was great.

We really had great time there. Great view from our bedroom. The pousada is really good and so comfy, and beautiful architecture as well. All staff was great specifically Cintia. She made our stayed so much better and she helped us on everything we needed it. She was great for us and also we loved all Meire's cakes and pães de queijo... So delicious breakfast. It was one of best breakfast we've already have in Brazil. We loved our time there. For sure we will be back! Thank you!

This trip was a dream! The weather was perfect, and the pousada was really great! The staff was super friendly, the room was immaculate, and the breakfast spread was incredible. The price was also quite reasonable in comparison with the other pousadas in the same area, none of which looked as nice as this one. The only downside (which wasn't really a problem for us) is that there's a fairly steep half-a-block descent from the pousada to the next street, so if you are quite elderly or have mobility issues, this might not be the best choice for you - but it was for us!

Exceptionally lovely place to stay. Tastefully decorated with beautiful antiques. Our room was lovely with high ceilings and a balcony. Staff helped us locate a laundry service and were super helpful with this. Breakfast in the lovely dining area was very good. Room very clean. Close to attractions. Cannot recommend enough.

The place is an antiquary that doesn't smell old. First I was a little skeptical, but the location, tranquility and parking spots convinced me to give it a try. With a nice view, good size room and unique furniture it made us feel out of the ordinary. Breakfast was good, with several options. The room view was amazing and the staff friendly. The location is also great. You stay a few minutes walk from the Cathedral, Liberty Square, Imperial Museum and downtown street, without hearing all the noise.

In the room there was no wardrobe. In the sink it was only cold water and it was not possible to wash hands not making everything around wet. The big windows were not tight and due to that mornings were cold. There was humid in the room and pillows not smell good. During evenings it was heard noise from the street. Sometimes there was no toilet paper in the room. There was no garbage basket in the room.

Little hotel with a great, unique atmosphere. My room had big windows with a view on a small "garden" which could be illuminated. Very kind personel. Good breakfast. There was air condition in the room that could be also a heater. Big shower area. Design of the room soothens all the inconveniance.

We had 3 rooms and some of us struggled to regulate the shower temperature. Perhaps, instructions could be provided.

The location is great (walking distance to the main sites). The rooms are spacious and well equipped. The decoration is original and beautiful, and some rooms have great views. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The car park is rather small, but convenient.
