The spare bedroom could be better arranged. The bed could be a double bed instead of the three single beds sofa. And it is a bit awkward having to pass through the spare bedroom to go to the bathroom.

The room and the view are amazing. Cute garden and easy access. Staff was fantastic, kind and attentive.

The room we were was quite humid and with low sunlight, making it a bit uncomfortable. A dehumidifier there could help a lot to make the room feel fresher.

The location was incredible. Great for a calm start of the day, and for exploring nature around the south of the island. It was also easily connected to the airport, which helps.

Breakfast buffet is good, but need faster replacement. Scrambled eggs and croissants has slow replacement for example. I left some days without having it due to long wait time. The time to serve menu items need to improve. 30 minutes is a reasonable time to wait for a menu, but wait times longer than 1 hour is not good. I had to give-up of a menu order because it was not going to be delivered in less than 1 hour. The staff at least was very polite and clear stating the order would take more than 1 hour so I had the option to go somewhere else for lunch.

Great location, Hotel has a direct access to the beach. Hotel provide chairs and beach umbrella. Staff offers to install it for guests. Hotel has free parking. Staff is polite. Location is calm, silent.

I tried to arrange the check-in time, which opens at 3 pm, but we had a mismatch. When I arrived, there was no one at the reception. So, it took a while before I could get in. Unforeseen events can happen, but that didn't stop my experience from being put to good use.

For those looking for a peaceful place on the beaches in the south of Florianópolis, Pousada Penareia is a refuge connected to nature and close to the sea. You can even hear the sound of the waves. The accommodation values the privacy of its guests. It has a relaxing leisure area (where you can rest or work) and a cozy garden to spend some time. Breakfast is simple but tasty and has everything you need to start the day fueled with energy. The location is a 15-minute walk from the center of Armação and 15 minutes from Projeto Lontra, which was a good base for me. There is a supermarket, a grocery store, and bus stops nearby. Depending on availability, the inn offers early check-in or late check-out for those who arrive early or need to wait for the departing time. I recommend it to anyone who wants peace and tranquility. I'll come back if I get the chance. :)

Nothing really. Just a small reminder that you should type the hotel address (instead of the name) when calling Uber because they drop you at the back lane and it's hard to find your way.

The outdoor space and indoor recreational facilities are great to spend time when you don't wish to go out. The beach is right outside the hotel (though very windy). Breakfast was sufficient with a small selection of everything. The towels in the room, OMG, are SO SOFT. The hammock in our small terrace is our favourite. Like other Brazilian hotels, there's no complimentary water provided in the room, but the hotel let us refill our bottle from their drinking fountain during breakfast.
