Nothing really. Hotel is small does not have any common areas or restaurant. Just rooms and reception. Breakfast is served to the room.

Great staff, always going extra mile. Very friendly, especially the receptionist Ana. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Every day cleaning. Hotel is right on the beach, you reach it by sand.

Walls very thin and can hear neighbours. Needs hanging space and drawers for clothes. Bathrooms could do with updating. Mosquito nets would be good!

Location is amazing - right on a beautiful beach, hammocks, bedrooms basic and comfortable. Really great breakfast. Very nice staff, lovely dogs.

The property is gorgeous, located right on the beach and walking distance to the center of town. The property has paddle boards and volleyballs for guests to use at their leisure. The room is clean and comfortable with everything you need. Leo and the staff were beyond helpful. We even had a mix up with our check out date and they were so accommodating.

I think the bathroom could be better. The sink is small and the towels are not the best quality. Nevertheless, it was very clean

I had high expectations for the breakfast (breakfast in Bahia are always amazing). The breakfast exceeded my expectations. Not only the food was delicious, but it is served in the bedroom balcony. I would consider this and maybe take an upgrade to the beach front view room. The staff is very friendly and professional!

The bathroom has no ventilation.

Highly recommend. Cosy place, Leo is very kind and helpful. The room is excellent with air con and fan. Very clean. We stay 8 nights and feels like home, very relaxing. Internet is really good, breakfast is amazing and the restaurants and markets are near by. The beach is just in front of and we could acces others beaches easily. It's a beautiful walk. Boat trip to the natural swimming pools can be arranged easily. Thanks Leo.

The Pousada is located right ON the beach and if you go for the sea view room you can literally watch the waves from your bed. They also have a bar and light lunch service working from morning to sunset and Leo is an amazing host, very attentive to the guests’ needs. Shout out to the breakfast, truly a 5 stars hotel experience.

Everything about this place was amazing. Leo, the owner, was attentive and hospitable. The location was perfect, on a beautiful beach, close to town but far enough away that it still felt remote. The grounds were lush and beautiful. The room clean and comfortable. And the free breakfast was absolutely delicious. Boipeba is a magical place made all the more magical by my stay here.

Suggest to possibly have a bench inside the room for an easier place to put and access luggage vs the floor.

Amazing experience from the time I hit “book”. Leo truly is a natural host. Warm, welcoming, responsive, informative, helpful…I can’t say enough about him. His service and timing is just perfect. :) Communication was great throughout the entire process. Our room was simple, spacious, and clean with plenty of shelving and a great porch to sit and enjoy the view. Property is located right on the beach between the centre of town and some gorgeous beaches which provides for a nice walk in either direction. On top of all this, an incredible breakfast is made to order each morning, prepared then served right outside our room with much thought and care. Quiet, intimate…for us, all of this combined defines what is idyllic and makes Pouso da Mare a very special place.

We loved staying at Pousada Pouso da Maré! The location is unreal - directly at the beach, just a few meters away from the water. Leo, the Manager, waited for us at the beach when we arrived and throughout our stay the whole staff was just incredibly lovely and helpful. Leo and Marianna spoke very good English. A highlight is definitely the breakfast served by the wonderful Mateus. We would have loved to stay longer and definitely will be back. Thank you so much for everything!

As a "pé na areia" pousada I would expect a better structure to enjoy the beach right in front of the inn. Staff is super nice but things feel a bit all over the place there - probably bc the owner is selling the property management is a bit left down

No privacy on the patios and rooms are not well insulated from sound. The property itself doesn’t have much to offer aside from being on a somewhat average beach. The town itself didn’t offer us much and everywhere is way overpriced for food. I’d skip it next time.
