Spacious, incredibly clean property. The staff were so helpful and couldn’t do enough. The room was bright, basic but had everything we needed with towels etc and a fridge. The kitchen was really well equipped and we were made to feel so welcome. Great location for accessing the Main Street and the historic old town.

The rooms are basic, however we knew it, it is not a big issue, the common spaces compensated us.

It is just next to the center and it has car parking. The interior yard is pretty, and the staff is lovely 🥰 the garden kitchen is a nice place to start the day. It is ideal if you are by car, or if you are with other couples and you want a separate room..

Required full payment on arrival but refused credit cards. Could locate only one ATM in entire town inside a pharmacy The tourist information sent us on several unsuccessful trips to banks.

Charming little pousada in quiet location within a few minutes walk from centre

No option to pay by card in the facilities. Our bathroom shower wasn't cleaned properly, and so was the fridge.

Parking, while limited, it worked very well for us. The room has a sensational AC, great for the heated days and nights. The location is very convenient as well!

The hotel was 5 minutes walking distance to the historical centre of the town. Moreover the hotel was quite cosy and beautiful. Once you entered the main gate, it looked like there was a secret garden. Moreover, once we checked in, the manager messaged us a lost of recommended places to eat for every meal. We felt very welcomed.

The room was small and dated, but for the price who cares. It as clean and safe.

They worked hard to accomodate me even thought I couldn't speak Portuguese. They gave me a safe place to store my car. The location is very close to the town, and safe area to walk around. Easy to get into town. Also, they let me keep my car there the next day while I took a boat trip. I had issues with my camera and they tried to help. Very very nice team!

The only negative point was that the bedsheets came off the mattress too easily. One or two turns during the night and you ended up sleeping on the bare mattress

This was a nice pousada, located just a few minutes' walk from the old town centre. The environment of the pousada is welcoming, with a sheltered patio for guests to relax. I was mostly in contact with Manuella, who was very pleasant to deal with, and helpful in organising a tour with a local tour company.

During a period of heavy rain, water was coming down the walls.

The staff were very welcoming and the room was very clean. It is just a short walk from the bus station and close to restaurants. Air con is great and the room is spacious.

Water pressure in the shower is not great.

The area is very quiet, but still close to rodoviaria and historical center. The room was nice and clean and it never got too hot, it had great ventilation. The toilet is cushioned. The people at the reception were very nice and friendly. There is filtered water and coffee available as well as access to the outdoor kitchen. They have umbrellas for the guests for when it rains.

When we arrived they did not have my reservation. All rooms were booked. We waited and they fixed the problem. We had to wait. We had being already waiting until 14h so it's annoying to find out there's no room on your name. The problem was solved. It's very difficult to communicate with the staff. Not one word of English nor Spanish.

The location. Pousada Roma is far from the center and it’s located in a dirty street. It didn’t look safe to walk back from the center in the night, we had a man following us and has to go inside of a shop. On the description of Pousada Roma, it says there is a kitchen in the facilities. However this kitchen is only available to sit at the table and eat the take away food that you buy in a restaurant. We bought a pizza in the supermarket and we asked to use the oven in the kitchen, however we were told we were not allowed as the kitchen is only for eating “small lunches”. There is a bathroom just inside the kitchen. It’s not very hygienic.

Free coffee in the morning - but not milk. Shower was okay.
