Loved everything and appreciated the care of all staff.

So many positives about his place: the location is excellent. Easy to hit the major attractions and many restaurants in walking distance. The staff is Top-Notch, starting with the front desk, to the housekeepers to the staff in the cafe. Absolutely,nothing negative to say.

The room is clean, enough space, with air conditioner. The staff is helpful and nice eventhough they are not good at English. They help us to call taxi to bus terminal. The hotel is located near Tiradentes Plaza, with many shops n restaurants.

The Pousada is a family business and it felt like we were welcomed as part of the family. The room is very comfortable with a great bed and the breakfast that was included in the room was excellent. It was a buffet but you could request hot omelettes and hot croissants if you wanted them. The adjoining cafe where breakfast was served was delightful. Location can’t be beaten. It’s right in the centre of Ouro Preto. One tip, take earplugs. This would apply to any Pousada in the centre of Ouro Preto as there is a lot of noise on the cobble streets from early in the morning.

Unfortunately we had an emergency and needed to cut our trip short. The hotel couldn't cancel the remaining days but Booking.com was able to solve the issue.

It's authentic. The location is amazing. Views from the old town. Breakfast has traditional treats and warm coffee. The staff was helpful. We had a leak in our room and they were open to move us to a better room or fix the problem. We really enjoyed the view from our room and they were able to fix the problem so we didn't need to change the room.

The bed was a little firm…but for me, it wasn’t a big inconvenience because everything else was absolutely perfect.

This historic property has been restored into an beautiful hotel that’s not to be missed in Ouro Preto. The bedding was luxurious, the excellent water pressure and ample hot water were much appreciated after a long day. The breakfast in the adjoining café was simply delicious. A huge thank you to Flavio and Paulo for always being attentive to my every need!

An old building and you can hear a lot from your room.

A good base to explore Ouro Preto right in the centre of the old town. Comfy rooms and a solid buffet breakfast with nice staff.

Lovely views of the historic town and surrounding hills from the balcony of our room. Great location for exploring Ouro Preto. Kind and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast, including tasty cakes.

Old building, it's Ouro Preto after all. Since the hotel is in the country side, don't expect to have a productive stay if you depend on a fast Internet connection. The Wifi isn't fast.

Bathroom had no window or air circulation, smelled bad and shower drain was clogged. Very small and no toiletries.
