The room was a bit dark, but that was no big deal.

The location is great, few mins walk to the old town. Staff was very kind and helpful, supported us with all the questions about transport and trips around. The room was spacious, clean and cosy. We even had a small private patio. Breakfast was generous with freshly prepared eggs, variety of fruits and cakes and even a freshly squeezed orange juice.

A cute little pousada in walking distance to the bus station. The historical center can be reached very easy within few minutes. A lot of attention to small details in the decoration that I enjoyed a lot. I was a solo traveler so for me the room size was very ok. Breakfast had different options which was OK to start the day. The receptionists were extremely friendly and helpful.

Lovely place to stay, great breakfast, lovely little internal courtyard which I read a book in on a rainy afternoon, quiet and great location to walk into the old town. I got to the property extremely late (close to 1am in the end) due to trees blocking the road in. I messaged them via booking.com to let them know I was going to be late, as I don’t believe they normally check in guests so late, and they kindly accommodated. I don’t speak Portuguese, but used google translate and they were a kind and helpful family run pousada. Thank you so much!

Our flight into Rio was delayed by 6 hours, necessitating a much later arrival at the pousada than planned at 1 a.m. Despite this a cheerful guy opened up for us and showed us to our spotless and comfortable room. The location is great; just a short walk to everything. Breakfast is tasty and plentiful and the staff in the dining room very pleasant.

Beautiful family run pousada in a great location just outside the historic centre. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. Excellent breakfast with bread , cheese ham and eggs, various fresh fruits and to die for cakes! Walking distance from the bus station. Helpful and friendly staff.

More space is required for hanging towels, wet costumes etc to dry. Parking is complicated but safe.

Clean, close to historical Paraty. Woman working at the café de amanha was helpful in organising boat tour.

The breakfast could have been more varied and our room did not have a window (only a balcony).

The location is great, close to the historical centre. It’s quiet, and the breakfast is tasty. It’s also close to the main bus station, which is helpful after a long trip in.

A really great experience, the accommodation is quaint and the atmosphere is cozy and familiar. The location is perfect to explore Paraty even without a car, the breakfast is great and the staff is very friendly ready to meet any request. Should I come back I already know where to stay!

The staff was very unfriendly and grumpy, with a couple of exceptions. We weren’t given much information when we arrived, and found a very long set of rules on a card, available only in Portuguese, clearly based on incidents with previous guests, very autocratic and antagonistic in tone and very off putting. Certainly not welcoming.

Please provide daily room service. Moldy smell in rooms. Shower needs more pressure. Rooms need more hangers. Fridge loud. Paperthin walls. Windows to courtyard, so it is always dark or people can look inside. No chair in room.

Close to bus station + city center. Clean and safe. Nice staff. Decent breakfast.

It was very cold at night (which they cannot control of course!). They gave us extra blankets which was great - but it would have been nice to have some heating. There was A/C but the heat function on there didn’t work.

The people working on the breakfast were a bit rude. They would be listening to their phones (videos, etc.) very loudly and wouldn't try to connect with the guests, even when we sought their help with some recommendation or questions about Paraty
