The location was a bit further away from the main attractions so it was quiet for most of the time. The hosts were lovely and attentive when we had questions.

The shower wasn't very warm, and my room has a bit of noise from nearby houses until early evening- but I think that would only be the room with rock on the wall, as the other rooms face elsewhere.

Close walk to the centre of Abrão, chilled atmosphere, nice mountain views, great price for a couple of nights, really nice terrace. Really cute and friendly dogs!

Little bit of a drain smell in the bathroom if you leave the sink plug open because there is no u-bend in the pipe, we covered it with soap and it solved it. Not the worst I've experienced but it could be fixed easily.

The place feels like its in a more local area and so it's quiet and peaceful. The accommodation is set in some nice gardens that feel like a tropical jungle and you've got nice views over the mountains. There is use of a small kitchen too, it's a little limited but it's a nice bonus, plus the fridge in the room. Beds are comfortable and wifi is good. Staff are all nice and they have two cute dogs.

I loved the view from my balcony and the quiet area. My room was spacious and comfortable with a frig and nice outside area. Plenty of cooking equipment. 5 mins to town.

Sometimes the smell from the bathroom was not pleasant but you can ask for cleaning any day :)

The room was clean and tidy, located 5min walking from the center. Everything needed for a short stay, the island is so beautiful that you actually don’t want to stay inside anyways :) hosts very friendly, I completely recommend the suites!

Host is very welcoming and kind! Plus the two dogs are very sweet. We really enjoyed our stay here, wifi works well, facilities are basic but all you need for making breakfast etc. We also booked our island tour with our host which we are so glad we did as it took the hassle out of trying to find one ourselves and the company we went with provided a very good service. Great value, would recommend to anyone wanting to stay on Ilha Grande!

The kitchen was very basic and only suitable for one person to cook at a time. The apartment we stayed in was separate to most of the other rooms and next to a tv room where people were watching movies at a really high volume. This isn't really a fault of the room itself but made the stay a bit uncomfortable, especially at night.

Location was walking distance to everything but a bit outside of the busiest area. The room and facilities were satisfactory, nothing was exceptional but overall good value for the price.

It’s little away from the village, but not too far, like 8 minutes.

Walter was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. When I arrived, I enquired about a transfer to Rio de Janeiro, and he immediately organised it for me. I received my bus/boat ticket 30 minutes after. I love the front porch with mountain view. The room was big, clean, it had hooks to hang your clothes, fridge, hot water, air-conditioning, and it was a decent size.

Very nice hotel or should I say a real pousada! Walter is friendly and have goods advices (we did a boat trip, thanks to him) The location is also very interesting, you will see by yourself :)

The rooms have new ar conditioning and two very powerful fans, one on the ceiling and the other on the floor. The nights at Ilha Grande can be very warm so having these appliances in the rooms is essential. The owners are very nice and they have an extra bathroom where you can take a shower after checkout in case you want to enjoy the island a little bit more.

It was unfortunate to have a storm coming. They turned on the generator for some light and fan to work on the first night, the second one it was completely blacked out.

The place is great. Comfortable and clean. Nice to be a bit outside the main street but also not too far.

The kitchen could use some additional equipment and the mattress is very hard.

We got a very spacious triple room with modern and clean facilities and an outside seating area in the front. The location is perfect: outside of the noisy and busy town centre but only a 3' walk away from all the shops, supermarkets, amd restaurants. The beaches are about 5' away. A shared kitchen is also available. Friendly owners.

Rooms got so, so hot over the course of the day whilst we were out & took ages to cool down with the fans at night - we didn’t sleep very well at all.

Great large and spacious room with fridge & plenty of shelves for clothes/storage. Kitchen kept tidy. Staff were kind and helped us arrange a transfer to Rio when we checked out.
