The shower didn’t seem to have an option to alter the temperature so it was cooler than we’d have liked

Good location, down the road from 2 big supermarkets. Not too far from the bus station. Comfy room with lovely bed and TV. TV was logged into all the major apps which was great. Strong WiFi. Easy check-in. Overall, a very comfy stay and great value for money.

Nothing loved it here!

Such a cool place to stay in Paraty, Karine and her partner were super friendly and helpful. The location was 15 mins walk from the old town but next to two large supermarkets and restaurants, laundry services and everything you need for your stay in here. Rooms were comfortable and clean with good aircon. Kitchen was basic but had everything you needed, and clean and tidy.. Would stay here again.

I like everything.

What a lovely place. Very different to a normal hotel. The containers are very comfortable, the courtyard is very relaxing, and a nice kitchen to prepare food. The owner, Karine, is super friendly and goes out of her way to help you. Well located - close to historic center and bus station, and handy having two supermarkets and several cafés closeby. I'd highly recommend.

Personal preference but the bed was a bit too hard for me. The rooms aren't very soundproof so it can get quite noisy at times

Saying goodbye to my hosts.

I don't usually write reviews on Booking but this one is special. I stumbled across this hotel which offered accommodation in a container. Intrigued by the concept, I let myself be tempted, thinking that I might never get the chance to try one again. For once, I had a very good hunch! The hosts were overflowing with kindness and were always there to help me or give me valuable advice if I needed it. Special mention goes to Karine, who took particularly good care of me during my stay (and even after I'd left, helping me via Whatsapp to find my bus to São Paulo at the bus station), and whose English is simply excellent. The hotel is well located, right next to two large supermarkets, which is very convenient to run errands for excursions. There is a shared kitchen with a fridge and everything you need to prepare a meal or make sandwiches. The hotel is also not too far from Paraty's historical center (about 1 km on foot, or a 15-minute walk). I was also struck by how safe the city was: I don't think it's a problem to go out alone in the evening in the streets of Paraty (although you always have to be careful, of course!). All in all, I can only warmly recommend this hotel in Paraty and its lovely and truly welcoming hosts.

The first impression of the location was not the best. There was a warehouse in front of the hostel. And some truck traffic. But on the other hand it was very close to the supermarket and cafes and restaurants. So it was really only the first impression.

Karine welcomed us very friendly and gave us good advices for the city. The little garden was nice and welcoming. Overall the facilities were very clean. The room had a good size and comfortable beds. In general the location was good. You can easily have a short walk into the center of Paraty. AND the Hostel has a very good noise cancelling fence. You don't hear any traffic inside.

Nothing I didn’t like.

Karine and Lucas were so welcoming helpful and friendly. I felt at home and well looked after and part of a family. Karine went the extra mile gave lots of information about Paraty and arranged a trip plus taxi to the bus station. The container is a brilliant up cycling concept. It is very clean the kitchen has good facilities and the room has everything you need. I highly recommend it for a stay plus I have made new friends and will keep in touch .

Everything was good

We like a lot this place , the containers looks very creative , and they have yard inside so you can have your breakfast outside . Place was made with love , small details makes your stay much more comfortable . And even though its not in center - you can have nice walk to central part next to the river

The location is a bit far from city center and not in a particularly pretty area., It can be annoying to commute in a rainy city like paraty. In the end it's a container so quite small for longer stays and a bit expensive for the space and location you get.

The staff can speak English very well. She have us a lot of nice suggestions, she is really helpful in organising your stay. The room has everything you need to stay for a short period and it's clean and well maintained.

Very nice small and cozy hostel. The accommodation is nice and in the unique style that the container provide. The kitchen is well equipped if you need it. The staff is very welcoming and available. Great experience, we recommend it both for short or long stay.

The room is very small and there is little room to do anything other than sleep so it is really only appropriate for a couple or solo traveler to use.

It was my first time staying in this type of accommodation and it was a positive experience. The room was comfortable, clean and had a nice courtyard so you didn't have to just sit on the bed when you wanted to relax. It is a great value accomodation and is perfect for solo travelers who want a private room with a private bathroom.
