My friend had to pay 40 reals just to leave his luggage for a few hours which was more than what I paid for the booking! For guests they still charge 25 reals which is crazy.

Clean place in really good location. Can't be beaten for the price in Sao paolo.

The building itself was very basic, poorly equipped, and the common room was not very nice. Because of the substantial reduction I thought it was okay for the price. Note that at the time on Booking the original price was listed as 90 reales, seriously overpriced even taking into account the expensive neighborhood.

The room in this hostel had a tiny balcony and didn't feel as cramped up as some other cheap hostels did.

Staff were more watching tv under the blankets and we need to try to catch their attention for assistance or questions (don't blame much because there is only a stand counter and maybe I went during their break time). More toilets would be nice so we dont have to wait long if someone else is having shower.

The receptionist who helped me checking in was very friendly. Very centrl location, you can walk to the Avenida Paulista and many of the museums or easily catch a bus or metro to go to the other turistic points.

Although it's for your safety, but you'll receive 4 different keys to open doors to enter and to leave. Should add hooks, shampoo and soap in bathrooms.

Location near Avenida Paulista and Rua Augusta. And it's a pretty clean hostel. At least their toilet bins have lids of you know what that means in South American hostels.

However you get what you pay for, the common area are not big. You can’t seat on the lower bed and the toilets from the mixed dorm was not really flushing

There were bed bugs, I just hope they aren’t traveling with me from hostel to hostel now. I know it’s hard to get rid of them. And it’s not about cleaning even.

Overall, the property needs a revamp. Broken window in my room/ no hot water in our shower (I was allowed to shower in a different bathroom thankfully)/ general disrepair.

You will have 2 or more keys and it makes you a little confused.it had many stairs.

There was no good common area. Due to the open terrace it was also quite cold throughout the property.

The location was great - just a 5 minute walk to AVE Ida da Paulista with bus and metro stations nearby. The staff were reserved but welcoming and answered every one of my questions! The bed wasn't super comfortable but it was ok. Kitchen facilities were good (even an oven!) But very small. Overall, it's a quite small hostel, which feels very homely.

With one exception, the staff is unfriendly. The kitchen is dirty and cramped. There's nowhere to eat if all four chairs are occupied. The common areas are poorly cleaned. The room I stayed in had a broken window, making it very cold. They didn't offer an extra blanket or anything else. The hostel is damp and lacks ventilation.

In the morning they told me that I could leave my stuff for free there until 4 pm. At 12 pm they told me that I could leave my stuff but I need to leave the place from 12 pm ( so it's mean just after they informed me that ..) if not, I had to pay 20 reales more to stay for few hours more. After that the staff asked to the boss if I could stay at the place a bit more, it was allowed to stay one more hour. If your stuff can stay there until 4 pm why not yourself ? Was not nice ..
