We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

PolandRoom was smaller than advertised on booking. On booking it said 26m, room was max 14-15m. Breakfast served only for 2hrs. 8-10. Since I was diving and leaving early I asked for breakfast box to be prepared but staff was unable to meet this request for whole week.

South AfricaThe place both rooms were grimey and dirty. Management thought that was a high standard. The curtains were moldy. We were given a bonus upgrade by bookings. However the room looked more like a downgrade. Breakfast was poor and by 8.30 a lot of the food was finished. Extra charges without being informed. Eg pool towels. Wanted corkage for eating a pizza in my room rais 140

Mexicoit took 45 mins to get a drink, 1 1/2 hours for food. I left a champagne bottle in the fridge , moved to another hotel and when I tried to contact them they never answered . they kept it.

United StatesNo screens on the windows meant lots of mosquitos in the room. But, the air conditioner worked well, and also kept the mosquitos on the ceiling and not near us.
Location was perfect- a little cumbersome to climb up the hill, but the view was worth it! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful, and the food was delicious. 10/10 would stay here again!

Breakfast standard. Rooms not cleaned daily and towels not changed! I would not have liked to stay longer with bathroom not being cleaned ….for what we paid we would have expected the room to be cleaned. Location a little way out and a steep hill to climb to get back from the beach!
