Not the cheapest place in terms of value for money

Great location in Paro, breakfast was great - lots of hot options, delicious mango, fresh watermelon juice, French toast was delicious. Hotel packed breakfast due to early flight. Has a basic fitness centre (some weights, treadmill, bike) better than nothing. Staff friendly. Allowed me early checkin which was great.

It was noisy at times - I think sound carries too well through the hotel. Otherwise, only minor niggles - we were supposed to get two bottles of water each day, but this didn't happen the first two days (they had run out). The laundry took longer than a day, so I didn't wait until the last minute. The coffee at breakfast was not nearly strong enough for my taste, so I had coffee in my room.

Location was very good - it was a quick walk to the shops and restaurants of Paro. The breakfasts were varied, with multiple options catering for the international clientele. The food was very tasty. I didn't try the restaurant for dinner, but my colleague who did thought it was very good. The staff were lovely and always willing to help. The wifi was sufficient for my use - listening to the radio and downloading files to my laptop.

The dinner menu had mostly fast food menu and not many options. The chowmein that we ordered was not very well made.

The rooms were comfortable with all the amenities. The staff behaviour were worth the mention, they took good care of us during our stay. They were always prompt in their service.

Everything was perfect - politeness, attention and helpfulness of staff, beautiful art on the walls throughout entire hotel, spacious, well equipped and immaculate rooms, balcony with views over valley. Plus well equipped gym and fulfilling breakfast.

Lovely balcony suite and very comfortable bed. Noisy late at night due to the sound of a nightclub (Sunday night) and machinery. Right in the cbd so close to many shops & restaurants.

It was winter so the room was very cold reason I was unable to use the bath tube.

All the staff in the hotel are genuinely good. Ms. Shearb is exceptionally caring and truly helpful. My initial plan was to stay there for 3 nights. But my wife and I decided to extend the stay by 3 more night because we enjoyed the cordial atmosphere, personal care and delicious food provided by Ms. Shearb and her team. Shearb- you are truly amazing and your presence adds extra star value to this hotel.

We were unable to stay longer.

We stayed here for 5 nights (see previous review) and loved it so much we stayed an additional 3 nights when we returned to Paro, after exploring Haa Valley. The management and every person who works at the property is kind, friendly, helpful, and they do everything to make your stay comfortable and special. Thank you for the great memories (and the best French Toast we have ever eaten!).

We can't stay longer!

Everything was immaculate. Our room was comfortable, clean, and had a beautiful view of the rice fields and mountains. It was fun to stand on our balcony and watch the planes line up with the runway to land at the airport. The breakfast is filling and delicious. The location is convenient. We walked everywhere. The art in the hallways is like a mini museum. Tashi, who works the reception, is extremely nice and helpful. We liked it so much that we reserved three additional nights.

The only thing missing was good WiFi. But if you get a tourist SIM with unlimited data, it's not a problem.

Didn’t stay longer
