The bed was very comfortable. Kate and Lash were very friendly and helpful. The kitchen was well equipped.

This is out of Golentle's control, but be careful of the round about way that Google sends you on to get there. We got stuck in thick soft sand about 100 meters from Golentle.

Outstanding place to stay in Maun. Spectacular hospitality! Kay, her husband and her son's are doing best to make their guests feel at home. It is not a five star hotel, but it is Botswana at its best! If you like to explore kindness and hospitality with a botswanian family, this is the place to stay. We enjoyed it so much!! It was hard to leave. Thanks!!!

A great little oasis in the middle of a raw and real neighbourhood. A great place to stay to experience the culture of Maun. Chef Kalesha makes a very healthy and very satisfying meal if you order dinner. Kay and Lesh are great hosts. I would highly recommend a stay here if travelling through Maun.

A nice family run home stay in Maun. The room was spacious with a fridge and microwave. The family was very friendly and welcoming. Quick turn around for laundry which was very convenient. They also ran a water filtration business so clean water was always available.

The toiletries were limited to only one small bottle of soap. Although meal can be ordered from the family, the price was a little on the high side.

It's very clean and roomy, and the staff are superfriendly.

More cutlery would have been useful, especially knives apart from the chef's one.

Great place for stopover before and after long drives. Host family are very nice and friendly. They can cook you proper homely food on your request. Feels like home!

We had a lovely stay. The family is super friendly, food tastes amazing and room is comfortable. We will come back and can definitely recommending staying there.

Honest and nice people. Food is good. Value for money. Heater is in the room so you can stay warm. Tea, coffee, kettle good amenities in the room. Very responsive to booking[.]com messages. The improvement I’d suggest is mosquito net in the room.

The owner Kay, was extremely friendly and always smiling. She made us feel welcome to her warm cosy place. She was very helpful and readily answered all our queries. We could pay in US dollars at the end of our stay. Golentle is about 10-12 minutes from the airport. The accommodation was secured with an electric fence on top of the compound wall. It was very clean and we loved the outdoor seating with the pet cats purring while we took our meals. The breakfast comprising bread, butter, cornflakes, eggs made to order, bacon with flavored yoghurt was lovely. The dinner with mashed potatoes, chicken, bread or rice, grilled tomato, salad greens- was tasty and delicious. You must order in advance. We loved the place and for the price we paid, it was exactly what we would have wanted to begin our safari the next day and also at the end of it- as our flight was on the next day.

The toilet could have been bigger, but we didn’t mind it. If you are a big person, you may want to ask for a different room.

Everything was great. The room was cleaned very thoroughly every day. I recommend this place! :)

Family-run business, room was very clean and beds were made up everyday. We were given a bottle of filtered water which was refilled each day. Kitchen area to cook was really appreciated. They even prepared and heated the coals for us when we wanted to use the braai.

Staff did their job too well, even folding our clothes and underwear, and organising the toiletries we left in the room.

I had a wonderful stay! The location was great and I was able to walk to the mall. They really made me feel like a welcome guest and the room had everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again!
