The cottage was very comfortable with everything we needed. It had a nice stoep and an outside shower which I always like. The braai area was good and cleaned daily. Nice deck to watch the sunset

There's nothing not to like here!

The cottages have everything you could need, they are well equipped and they've thought of the small but important details too. The location is fantastic to explore the quieter side of Chobe National Park and has stunning sunsets over the Chobe River Floodplain.

Perfect location for visiting Chobe through the Ngama gate, which is much quieter than the Kasane side. The grounds are lovely and everything is well spaced for privacy. The cottage was spacious, clean and well appointed. The owner, Hayden, is super knowledgeable about travel, wildlife, etc. In the area and very generous with his time helping his customers plan visits to the park or onward travel.

A well facilitated, cosy property with everything you need for a short or long term stay. Outlook and wildlife viewing over the Chobe floodplain amazing. Friendly helpful hosts. Very good value.

Outside en suit shower, as having shower after dark means it is you and many other insects, especially big months above your head. So if you are not a fun, not recommended, also think about the fact that all tours starts from Kasane so you will have nearly an hour drive across the park

The checkin procedure was a bit uninterested in style if I would say. The later talks with the manager was great on the other hand. (Which was an other person than during checkin) eventually with the manager we had a great talk and received very valuable informations for our future plans.

The overcomplete cottage was very nice, also giving us good future options to consider when we go back to this region. You can prepare basically anything at the cottages. The lookout is also great during sunsets down at the marsh.

The self-catering cottages border the road, not the river side, and there was a bit of noise from neighbours accross the road. Nothing can be done about that.

Location was perfect to explore Chobe from the Southern end of the park. Also close to Ngoma Gate which is convienient and there is now a new fuel stop very close by. We stayed in the self-catering but we looked at the campsites and ablutions and they were perfectly sited next to the river and there is a private bathroom per campsite and they are clean as one could hope for and we will camp next time.

This campsite was recommended to us by other travellers and we were not disappointed as it is an excellent place to stay. The cottages and camp site are located about 15 mins from Ngoma on the Botswana side of the border. We stayed in a self-catering cottage and would describe the facilities as excellent. The cottage had a queen size bed with mosquito net, a sofa which could be used as a bed, a large ensuite bathroom with an outside shower accessed from inside the bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. There is also an outdoor deck and table, and a braai for cooking. The reception has a well stocked shop with food, their own grown produce, and craft items for sale. There is wifi at reception area, plus complimentary tea and coffee, wit the option to buy coffee pods for the coffee machine. Staff were really helpful and organised an early check-in for us – the communication was excellent. The site also has campsites and ‘glamping’ tents, a swimming pool and a deck overlooking the Chobe river. We would definitely stay again.

Extremely friendly and helpful management of the property. The cottage was very well equipped with everything you would need for self catering. Excellent distance to Ngoma Gate to enter Chobe NP if you are not staying inside the park itself.

Rooms may need extra fumigation in the rainy seasons due to too many bugs Lighting could be better inside the room. Fridge took a long time to get cold Mattress needs replacing - too soft. Internet WiFi access is only in the Reception area
