Really good breakfasts and meals reasonably priced and varied menu. Property went down to the Chobe river. Enjoyed seeing warthogs and bushbucks on the lawn. Nice bar. Very friendly helpful staff.

Staff did cleaning of rooms very early somewhat disturbed lie-ins.

The room is ok for the price.

The staff at reception is not very nice. The safe in my room did not work properly.

Nice place to stay, with quite good food. But do not take the rooms along the road, they are noisy. They also arrange nice halfday trip

Beautiful setting, friendly staff and great location! Booked a night and stayed a second night. Has a great feel to it.

Just a suggestion- food menu could be more varied

Nice rooms, comfortable...nice little restaurant...The females staff were very nice...the food is good...and the capuccino excellent... Very well situated...with the river closeby..practical for river cruise pick up and drop off... And not very far from Chobe park gate... Also lots of birds...

Unfortunatly, a little noisy at night...specially room 5...noise from people outside talking or watching something on their phone...until quiet late.. And also people from the room above...

Luke & his team are always super responsive, friendly & helpful. Old House has great character & always a comfortable stay.

Veg options at the restaurant are limited. An option of a fridge in the rooms would be welcome given Kasane heat.

Quirky appearance with a tropical feel in the surrounding gardens. Felt safe walking about 10 minutes down to the shopping area along the main road. Room was comfortable although the bed was small. Breakfast was very good. Ate in the restaurant twice for our evening dinner and we enjoyed the food served. The safari drive we took one morning was excellent thanks to our guide Andrik who was knowledgeable and obliging. The sunset cruise booked through The Old House was disappointing since the guide was most reluctant to explain anything or point things out unless she was asked a direct question.

Cold shower one morning . Some of the staff seemed unfriendly and bored with their work. Other staff were happier.

Nice breakfast and breakfast area. Wild animals right infront of you when having a meal.

Dinner prices a bit high.compared to other places.

Well I ended up not spending the night there. I was looking for comfort but when my room was presented to me, I was shocked what they call double room was just a bigger single. I could have stayed if it was even a queen bed! I hope to get my refund. Ended up going to Cresta. Big hotel hotel but nevertheless very comfortable beds and actually it made my visit to Kasane very well worth it.

I loved the access to the riverfront and the premises and room were spotlessly clean. Breakfast was plentiful, WiFi worked well. Seeing a bushbuck in the garden at night was priceless and so was the sunset birdsong. Staff, whilst always professional and friendly, just didn't seem happy.

Ambience warm, decorated dining room with additional African and bird art theme and included history of William Lamont was a bonus of this special B

Property is well kept. Reception was very helpful in arranging afternoon boat cruise when I arrived and shuttle to airport for departure. Convenient to have on-site resto/bar. Also close to a cafe, Italian restaurant and Spar. Kalahari Tours 5 min walk away.

Wifi works well in only a small location outside main office. Little variety for breakfast (full English or cheese omelette).

We couldn’t enjoy the romantic side of the hotel as there were continuous football match shows on tv screen in the restaurant in the evening, it felt a bit like in an English sports pub.
