Extremely clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for our short stay. It would be comfortable enough for an extended stay as well. The kitchen had everything you could need and the linens, mattress, towels, etc were great quality and very comfortable. The AC also worked very well and we were able to have a comfortable night sleep. We would stay here again!

The location is perfect. 2 minute walk to the beach, with Alux supplied beach towels and chairs. 3 minute walk to a very good coffee shop and a restaurant that we really enjoyed. The kitchenette is very well equipped . We only spent 2 nights, but wish we stayed longer.

It was a bit hard to find, but it is an excellent location for walking around. There is a nice coffee shop. in a treehouse and nice restaurants around. We enjoyed our visit.

Mosquitoes and sand fleas are ever annoying the week we were there. They were everywhere. It's not the fault of the house but definitely could do without these creatures

Alux House was everything we wanted. Nice kitchen with everything we needed. My husband enjoyed cooking there every day. Nice little touch with the herbs and spices to add to our dishes. We love the coffee maker. We love the vegan soaps. The pool was just so delightful to enjoy. It was close to the nice little shops and restaurants in Placencia. The beach is a few steps away. We had a very quiet time by the port every morning for our walks. And then we enjoy a beach swim by the other side where there were very many nice restaurants in front of the beach like Tipsy Tuna, Bohemian... Very close to the nice, long Placencia walkway where all the near souvenir shops are. We will treasure all the memories we've experienced in this wonderful property. ❤️

The property was spectacular! It was the perfect location. We were 3 minutes from the beach, 2 minutes to the pedestrian path and 5 minutes to restaurants and supermarkets. The lodging was spotless and well equipped. The little pool was perfect for a quick dip. It was probably our favorite lodging during our 10 day trip to Belize! Oh and the staff were super nice and helpful. I highly recommend staying here if you’re in Placencia.

We did not choose this location for the pool, but the pool was small. Its probably perfect for small kids. Honestly I was not aware it even had a pool so it did not take away from the experience. Its a great place to stay!

Great location. Great kitchen. Owners very responsive on the app Whatz up. Free Laundry was the the icing on the cake. I bought a laundry sheet from the owner. Near things like coffee house "Brewed Coffee" that has things like Seaweed Milkshake! Next to the beach!

Alux is close to the sidewalk so very easy to get around the island, beautiful property that is well maintained as well! The A/C is ice cold!!

Gorgeous building and excellent location. The rooms are huge and I loved the high quality finishes and extra details throughout. I didn’t even realize there was a plunge pool but that was a wonderful addition. The staff were so kind. I wish we’d been able extend our trip and stay longer!

AC dripped condensation onto my pillow, just moved the bed away. Towel racks not anchored very well, pulled out of drywall. Mattress and pillows were firm. Surprised by cleaning fee, not on website. Some stair treads showing decay, need replacing.

Facilities exceeded expectations, all the little extras, like blender for smoothies, sealable containers for leftovers, coffee, spices, etc. beach chairs, towels and lockable safe. Staff was excellent and very responsive to all requests.

Everything was great

The room was spacious. Two restrooms, which was great as we had our granddaughter with. Pool looked inviting, although it was a bit too cold to enjoy it. Were there to enjoy fireworks and bring in 2024 . We did that and then had a nice restful night after festivities.

After a week on a great off-grid caye, the Alux was a gift. The site manager was extremely friendly and had a great insight on what I needed.

Parking for our vehicle was outside of the property which was a bit concerning for us.

The details in the accommodations were focused on meeting the needs of the guest. This we found very appealing and would love to back back and invite friends to stay at the property.
