A bit of noise at night from the neighbourhood dogs.

Nice big room. Had a fridge, coffeemaker and microwave. Good fan and aircon. Easy walking distance to everything in the town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Coffee, fruit and toast was provided every morning. Security was good.

A wonderful hotel with a very thoughtful host. No matter how early you wake up, there will always be coffee, bread, and fresh fruit brought to you. Booking tours through them is also a great option — the prices are better, and everything is well arranged. The room is clean, comfortable, and fully equipped. The location is very convenient, right in the city center. I’m really happy I chose to stay here!

Th shower wasn’t really hot. It was cold, and if the hot came on it was scalding for a bit and then went back to cool. So basically took cold showers both nights.

Staff was super friendly and helpful . Helped me book shuttles to and from San Ignacio. Also helped with laundry quickly and loaned me an umbrella to use. Really pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable and ac worked well in the room. Room was very spacious. Fruit in the morning was delicious!

Our room was quite large but because of the location on the top floor it took about 6 hours for the room to cool off with the air conditioner and both fans. The staff can fix this by turning on the AC hours before you arrive. If check in is at 3pm, the room doesn't get cool until 10pm.

Very large family room for three of us to spread out with air conditioning. Loved having a simple breakfast available in the mornings. Air conditioning and bath room were were good. It was with in walking distance to the town and local public bus. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Staff was very friendly. It is 2 blocks from the main stretch, but can be a bit dark when walking back at night. Room was a little basic, but adequate.

The guest house is an older property but the hosts keep it very clean and thought of so many small things for comfort. For example enough towels, towel hooks, filter papers for coffee machine, a simple self service breakfast, and very comfortable beds. The family room was very large. The hosts even do laundry for a great price! It was a great location near to restaurants etc in town.

Lovely run guesthouse,only 6 rooms which were huge with a hammock in ours which our children loved. Breakfast was a bonus! Perfect location to town and very friendly staff who helped me book tours before I arrived and made us feel welcome when we were there. Can’t recommend enough!

A fantastic family run business with lovely hosts who made us feel welcome instantly. We were greeted with a smile every morning. They offer a fast laundry service and helped organise our onward shuttle. Very spacious and comfortable room with good AC in a central and quiet location.

The central location did result in street noise such as dogs barking on a regular basis.

The central location made walking to the market and local restaurants very easy. We even did the walk up to Cahal Peche. The two sisters who manage the property are friendly, professional, and provided excellent recommendations for tours and food. They also called taxis for us. Even though breakfast is not part of the stay, they do provide coffee, tea, toast, and fruit. Our room on the top floor was very large and the bed was comfortable.

Great location. The managers were very friendly. The property is a little dated and needs a few repairs. Could use a fresh coat of paint, but it is very safe and extremely clean! What else can you ask for in a budget accommodation?! I would recommend Arnold’s to everyone.

We booked four nights and were given a very shabby room the first night. Asked and were allowed to change rooms for remainder of our stay. Shower was either scalding hot or cold.

Very good value for money. Everything is clean, the beds are very comfortable and there is free access to drinking water. Very nice and helpful staff. Possibility to book transportation with hotel pick-up for a fair price.
