Third stay at Bananas, it has been pretty consistent for the most part. We did feel like the “wear and tear” is beginning to show. Really hope you guys can maintain that higher quality we’ve grown to appreciate.

We were very disappointed with housekeeping. Almost every day they came in the afternoon. A couple of times they came around 7-8pm. (Yes PM, not AM.) The last night we just told them to give us fresh towels as we were leaving the next day. We were wondering if they had enough employees to get rooms cleaned by midday or midafternoon. When they did come earlier, they did a good job.

The newly remodeled room was very nice and clean, and modern. We had stayed there twice before when it was Banana Beach Resort, and it is greatly improved. Liked the fact they have an elevator so you can get your luggage in and out via no steps if on the upper levels. All of the employees were very kind and helpful. We were able to rent a golf cart thru the hotel, so we did not have to go looking for one.

The stairs did not have handrails, and made us old people feel vulnerable to falling. Also, no handrail in the shower. The lounge chairs by the pools, and on the beach, would be nicer with some padding.Uncomfortable to lay on. Need a light in the kitchen, over the stove.

Loved that it was on the water. The view from the room was breathtaking! Our one bedroom suite was very nicely done. Very comfortable. Well protected. Friendly staff. Would stay here again ❤️

Poorly maintained..Our room smelled like sewage..They said they would fix it of get us a different room..Instead sprayed some Fabreeze and called it good..The screen doors on both rooms did not slide open and close..Reported it, nothing happened..I took it off and leaned against the wall, they put it back on still not working.

Staff were very nice..Location was very good..Far enough from town to be calm and quiet, yet close enough to be convenient.

The kitchen was disappointing. It was not a full kitchen, as advertised. There was no light in the kitchen itself. Light from the light in the living room was not adequate. There was no oven. Minimum pots.

The room with a balcony overlooking the beach was great. The staff was very helpful and friendly, especially Vin.

I enjoyed my stay at the Bannana Beach property. The location is perfect. Staff was welcoming.

There are two pools that were fairly cold and situated in the center of all the rooms … it was fine but would have rather seen the ocean versus all suites doors.

The rooms are nice and big with a good lay out. It was very quiet and clean

The staff was very incompetent and inept for check in and check out It was seriously ridiculous. When I went to verify my taxi to the airport at the end of my stay, it was as ridiculous as the check in and check out The desk attendant was snippy at best. The bathrooms have no ledge or holder to put the shampoo and conditioner in. So it leaves you to put them out in the sink and reach out to get them as you need them, which leads to water all over the floor. Very poor oversight

The fact that it’s right on the beach is one of the big pluses. This place has thee most comfortable pillows and bed that I’ve had in my whole trip of traveling all over Belize

The hotel isn’t fully open so the phones lines were not working. I was also disappointed there was no cable. Netflix, prime were available but for the rate I paid I should’ve had some cable. Also a few more pots and pans in the kitchen

Loved the location, my view and the staff. They even decorated for my birthday. I felt safe every night. Will definitely be back.

I did not like the hotel and it had a stench that was so bad. They should have told us that the sea grass gathered on that side of the island this time of year. It would have made a difference in where we stayed.

I didn’t like that I paid for a beach from property and there was no beach. One thing to know about Belize there is no beach in town there is sand and wall and water. There is also a lot is seaweed in the area. I paid for a beach front so my family could have easy access to the beach but there was no beach so if I knew I would of stay at a property that was not beach front and paid less. I also wished there was a toaster and a griddle to cook. There was everything else but the pot and pans and cooking ware there was only a small pan.

The facility was updated and modern compared to others in the area. It was clean and there was room service every day that cleaned and changed our towels. The facility was up to date no complaints.

We thought we paid for a view of the ocean with a patio looking towards the ocean and beach. Instead, we were on an alley looking at a concrete fence. No microwave in unit.

Hard to cook your own meals. Lack of pots and pans. Lighting in the kitchen was terrible. Kitchen cabinets and drawers were either hard to open or needed soft closing hinges. Communication was difficult before arrival. Pillows sucked.
