Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesHot tub wasn’t very hot
Clean, comfortable, short walk into town either on the beach or on the street/sidewalk. Miriam was super helpful in getting us a golf cart. Loved waking up and watching the sunrise from our patio.

United StatesWe are very disappointed in that this was our 30th anniversary to enjoy a quiet, relaxing vacation, and out of 4 nights' stay, 2 days (and nights) were completely ruined by the very loud, annoying sounds of construction of the place next door. We couldn't enjoy morning coffee or even lie outside anywhere as the noise was loud and ecchoing all day and even at night until 7:30 pm. They should tell you that construction is happening all around all day. This really put a damper on things, and the only reason the first 2 days were quiet is because one was a Sunday, and the next day was a holiday. After that it was noise, noise, noise! We feel that we should be compensated for that. Be aware that although the beach side is pretty with white sands and coconut trees throughout, there IS a fair amount of trash and construction along your walk. There is also a lot of sea grass at the shorline, so you can't just wade into clean waters. Some shorelines have retaining walls so you can't just walk into the water. And the back street does have a LOT of golf carts and vehicles rushing up and down the island with lots of dust, noise, and trash. Wish that road was farther away from the beachfront, although you don't hear it on the beach side.
LOCATION: About a 20-minute walk from San Pedro airport. VILLA: We had a one-bedroom on bottom-left side (facing building). So lovely! For maximum light, try to get a corner villa with side windows in living room, kitchen, and bathroom. Loved this place!! The kitchenette is perfect for two and has all you need for cooking, etc... I love that this unit provided a water station with a big water dispenser (thank you!). Ample closet space and looking over the ocean and gorgeous coconut trees swaying in the wind. Very clean! Comfortable king bed with room air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout. Located away from restaurants and hustle-bustle. The shower head was a joke, though, with only a stream of water coming out (it NEEDS to be replaced with a shower head giving more coverage and better water pressure). The pool and hot tub are terrific and very clean. Freddy works hard to be helpful - very nice guy!! Our room "safe" had not been bolted down, and he immediately bolted the new safe securly upon our arrival.

United StatesThere was an enormous puddle that flooded the one street leading in/out of the property and the owners did absolutely nothing to address it. This was a real inconvenience.
The hosts were very helpful and friendly.

United StatesPlease fix the safes. We could not close the door of the kitchen safe for most of our stay. Freddy sanded it for us which worked for 2 days then it was swollen again and would not close (wood door and moist environment?). Also the bedroom dresser drawer "safe" never did work. This is picky and am almost embarassed to post...Do suggest new plastic glasses as several tumblers were cracked and leaked from the bottom. Also perhaps salt and pepper containers that didn't require either using a spoon to get some spice or !gasp fingers! who knows how many guests just used their fingers to get a pinch! Lidded shakers are an awesome invention.
The location was great. Just south of town with the perfect length for a walk to build the appetite! Nice pool kept clean, and plenty of sun and shade. The staff, Freddie and Crusita were fantastic. Very helpful and friendly. The property manager Simon was also attentive to some slight adjacent property issues, which were frankly beyond his control, yet he did a stand up job dealing with it. The unit was dated but well equipped. Frankly one of the better equipped kitchens we have experienced (and we do over 12+ rentals a year).

We loved the quaintness of the property! Most beautiful ocean view from our room. Pool area was great. Also enjoyed the location, it was far enough away from the busyness of the town but close enough to grocery stores and restaurants.

United StatesThe price we paid to stay at Coral Bay Villas (1,875.89) for 5 nights did not closely match the quality of experience we received staying there. I can't emphasize that enough. From the first interaction with the check-in staff, to the daily 8-5pm very loud construction noise next door, and the poor quality of the room itself, we felt like we severely overpaid for this hotel. The images do a good job convincing you it's a worthwhile place to stay, but in reality it is far less quality then staying in one of the big hotels on the island -- especially with the poor service experience and issues with our room. - Bathroom sink did not drain; unable to brush teeth, wash hands, wash face, etc. This was a annoying circumstance, and office was closed when we sought help. - Salamander in our shower on first day that had to be relocated using a cup (gross, plus fast and tricky to catch) - No A/C in main living area, only in bedroom. - Horribly loud construction noise all day. Ear plugs are provided, though! Quite a dissatisfaction when paying full price for a property. Not previously disclosed. We we're placed in the room closest to the construction. - Awful road in to the property. Bumpy golf cart ride unlike the other resorts on the island. - Unfriendly check in staff who gave us attitude about our arrival time, arrival communication. - Room location, view, and condition not as advertised. Barely could see the ocean from the living room, despite "Superior suite with sea view". Felt unequal to be on main floor compared to second floor rooms. - Little privacy on ground floor units - blinds had to remain closed due to construction workers peering in from other property and people walking next to our unit. Wife did not feel comfortable being stared at by construction workers when sitting in the outside covered area - Fridge did not get below 52 degrees, which required my medication be constantly put on ice. Freezer was insanely cold though.
- Ice cube trays in the freezer, with a bucket full of ice ready to go - Friendly and kind security staff - Plenty of cookware and cooking utensils - Large TV - Purified water provided - Easy parking for golf cart - Hot tub and pool are quite nice - The two hammocks are nice outside

United StatesLoved our stay here! The patio was comfortably furnished and had lots of space to hang out in, ACs in every room so we could escape the humidity for a bit and beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped for making breakfast and coffee. The WiFi was perfectly usable for our group of 3 to work remotely for part of our stay. There were great places to eat nearby if we didn't feel like taking the golf cart into town, though town also wasn't far - maybe a 10 min ride to the center. As it was late June and approaching rainy season, the villas were relatively quiet while we were there and we often had the pool to ourselves.
