The matresses could be better, the water leales because it was broken, there were constant lights and music even into the evening.

In some ways, I would have enjoyed being in Placencia, but this also depends on what you're going for. The Maya Beach area is good for relaxed hanging out by the beach and eating at local hotel restaurants. Placencia is more for walking around the city and trying various spots.

We loved staying at the Coral Cove Inn! It was super laid back, our room was very cozy and stayed cool, the staff we're very kind, breakfast was so tasty (especially the banana breads), and we enjoyed using the kayaks, the bikes, the pool, and being directly on the beach. Thank you for such a lovely little get away trip :)

Only one room with a king-size bed, because the rooms are compactly designed, so larger beds would not fit right. But we were happy with our nicely firm queen bed.

Such a relaxing place, the beach right past the decorative gate. Perfect sunrise and moonrise views. Palms everywhere. Coffee-maker, fridge, and TV in the room, which we found wasn't always the case in Belize. Friendly U.S. owner was on the property at the time. Many good restaurants within walking distance.

Nothing. Came with breakfast (tons of fruit, yoghurt if you want & bread, coffee). No complaints at all.

So many comfortable spots to hang out. A real home away from home. Val & the housekeeping staff were so lovely. Belizeans are so kind, lovely, hospitable & smart. This place also seemed to attract truly good, kind people. At least while I was there.

Amazing manager Valesca made beautiful fresh breads for breakfast and was always available to answer questions and help with booking our next adventure. She us well respected in the community and offers knowledge of the area and connections to book excursions if that is what you are looking for. Great cook, clean and comfortable rooms, perfect location on the beach, also a pool. Could not have been better.

Walked in and knew it was going to be amazing. Welcoming drinks and a small cottage. After backpacking Guatamala this is heaven Steps from the beach.. Booked an extra day. Little pricey for MY budget , but great value.. Literally 6 ft to the Caribbean

The room was on the small side, but appropriate and very comfortable for the price.

Valesqua greeted us and gave us a tour, and made us feel right at home. It's a lovely little spot on the water. She came in early and brought breakfast, including delicious homemade banana bread. This place is a gem!

Our room was small and in need of upgrades. It was expensive compared to other places in the area.

The location is right on the beach and close to restaurants and a grocery store. The staff were friendly and we got a ride into Placencia.

Have to take a cab to and from Placencia, but that was my choice. Bicycles if you like.

The location and the views and the host, Val, was fantastic. Landscaping was fantastic and very accommodating. Val fixed the toilet in the middle of the night.
