Noise from other guests and maintenance

Only stayed 2 nights. Other guests were very loud till late. Then hammering early next morning (Sunday) by hotel repairs.

Have to sign out things like towels and hair dryers. It's on the beach but you can't really swim in that section. The restaurant attached to the hotel was slow and the food was bland but that's not really the hotel's fault. They don't replace the water bottles every day but they have a water cooler in the lobby you can fill up at.

Pool was nice and cool. Bed was comfy. Wifi and AC were strong. 2min walk along the beach to the new water taxi terminal. 15min walk along the beach to the main area of shops and restaurants. Complimentary rum punch at check in.

San Pedro is a bustling little town and sometimes contrasted with the leisurely trip that we wanted to have.

Corona Del Mar is a delightful property located right on the water. We had a spacious room on the third floor overlooking the ocean and palm trees. We took advantage of the restaurant downstairs as well as getting a couples massage at the palapa below. there are many restaurants nearby, and there are golf carts to rent for excursions away from the hotel.

The room was on the small size, but it had a king-size bed, microwave and mini frig. No chair in room, so I went out on balcony to put shoes on. It could also use a mini table on balcony to rest your drinks.

Great location. 15 minute relaxed walk from downtown on beach. I had a terrific view of ocean and woke every morning to look at sunrise from my balcony. I also had my light breakfast there.

Our only issue was that the pool was closed for repair/repainting for our entire stay (Dec 2024), and we were unaware of this issue until we arrived. We would have picked a different location. The logo was being painted at the bottom of the pool was underway during our stay, so I suspect the pool is operational now -- but might be worth a call. The price of our room was not discounted since we booked with third party but staff upgraded our room since the pool was closed, which was thoughtful of them. As said above, staff were great.

The grounds were well kept. Very nice beach compared to most of the other properties. You can actually walk into the water.

Good central location. No need to rent a golf cart to get around. Short walk to the airport and places to eat. Hidden gem is the dive shop on the property.

There was an odor of sewer gas every morning coming from the bathroom. Music from the bar area was a bit loud.

The location was very good. Beach area was raked and clean every morning. Staff was helpful and friendly

The pool seemed to be closed alot. I would have loved to swim in the morning. Perhaps they could do cleaning at night once everyone is sleeping (10pm or later)

It’s not for this place but it’s quite hard to get around without a golf car. Also I think it’s a little overpriced but that’s whole San Pedro.

The only thing is the pool. I went to relax there and the water felt like it had a lot of chemicals in it. I have been in other hotel pools and the water doesn't feel that heavy. I also didn't like that there were still dirty clothes in my room when I got in. It doesn't bother me because it was only a shirt and I threw it in the garbage.

I like the front desk attendant. She was very friendly and super attentive. I love the little bar on the bottom floor. They are super friendly and attentive also. I liked my room it was super clean and spacious.

There wasn't any cable TV. It was Youtube, Tubi, and some other services I didn't know how to use. You could log into your Netflix account if you had one. I found some movies on Youtube to watch but sometimes you just wanna turn on the TV and let it play without the hassle of trying to search for something. There was a bar across the street that had really loud (and bad) karaoke several nights. Not the hotel's fault, of course.

Was great to have a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in the room so I could have some snacks for late nights and early mornings. (Belize restaurants are expensive! Save money by going to Island City Supermarket or Walk Mart to get food.) There was free coffee in the lobby too. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. Located right on the beach, although there is a seawall with stairs you need to climb down to get in the sea. Shallow water, some fishies swimming, and I saw a stingray. Chairs and hammocks to relax on. Nice little pool that wasn't very busy during my stay. Diving company right in front of the hotel, but I booked with Searious Adventures cuz they were cheaper.
