I liked the home away from home feeling. Perfect spot for a business traveller or a visitor doing remote work during the week.

Could have been a bit cleaner

Place was good for the price. Place was clean and was comfy.

It's a little distance from the city nightlife. Renting a car is a must for the city.

Didn't have a television

Owner \ Manager, Sharine and her partner Bruce were very helpful, came to pick us up at the airport and came and picked us up late at night after exploring the city's nightlife. Super kind people. Took us to Altun Ha. The apartment was as described, good balcony (bit noisy from the traffic). Fully equipped kitchen, good size bed and bath with hot water. AC worked perfectly. We will recommend this place for sure. about 10 min drive to the centre of the city.

When we arrived, no one was there to greet us. They were closed for the day. Tried calling , number was not going through. Finally got her on the phone and she was a little rude.We reserved an "apartment" and had to get on a boat ride , we arrived 2 mins after closing and she was gone. Like you knew we were coming and needed to check in... you couldn't give your customers 5 mins extra of your time? Especially if you know there are visitors and bringing money to your business... It was in the worst area, not what was advertised. The room was not what we looked at online. And way smaller. The bathroom was nice. But that's about it. So we left right away and canceled the room. I would never recommend this place to anyone!! Horrible experience!! And I'm from this country, so it's nothing other than really bad customer service. The pictures , the 1st is what is advertised, the other 2 are what we saw.

We got upgraded to the seaside chateau resort hotel which is amazing and was perfect for the kids with its swimming pool n the sea . So we didn’t see the other apartments but our experience with the hosts was top notch .

Convenient location.

Third floor, no elevator. Needs a new paint job and furniture. No microwave in kitchen. Bed wasn’t comfortable.

Small but complete. A simple but functional kitchen and an excellent shower. The laundrymachine was a pleasant surprise!

It was a little far from the old part of the city. There are some restaurants, shops and an ATM close by. If your up for an decent walk, you shoulf be good

On the positive side, Gaby was very nice and helpful; and the owner allowed us a later check-out of noon. Beds were comfortable and each room had an air conditioning unit, and it had a small balcony.

We were in unit 3 on the top floor (pictures 43 to 50). Everything was very run down from the one chipped side plate to the stained furniture, wobbly kitchen chair and broken cabinets and tiles. The "kettle" for boiling water was an aluminum one meant to be heated on the stove that we never could get lit. With no hot water in the kitchen sink we had to run water through the tiny coffee pot to wash dishes, and no dish towels we provided to dry them. Three remotes were provided for the TV, with no instructions, and my technical savvy husband gave up trying to figure it out (we never tried the bedroom TVs). There are no closets to hang anything, or hooks in the bathroom for wet towels. The side table in one of the bedrooms nearly collapsed when I tried to move it closer to the bed (I realized the wall was holding it up), and table lamps were non-existent. We are not high-maintenence travelers, but this unit barely met basic needs.

The unit was close to a grocery store, ATM, etc. easy walking distance

The shower drain was full of hair. The refrigerator looked like it was cleaned with a very dirty rag. The unit old furniture and hadn’t in deep clean for a very long time. The electrical outlet in one of the rooms didn’t have a face plate. I could go on. Stayed two nights took two showers one I had hot water one, I did not have hot water. It rained and the water came in the door and flooded the floor. Guests are instructed to take out their own garbage. The unit was on the third floor with very steep and slippery steps. I reserved two rooms the honeymoon suite and skyline 3. One of the members of my party was put in the hospital before the trip and it was beyond the cancellation time. I notified the hotel that I was going to cancel a room. I was only given a key to skyline three which was the cheaper of the rooms. No opportunity to use the more expensive of the rooms that I paid for. I tried talking to the manager, and she was extremely rude and implied. I was trying to get out of paying the bill, which wasn’t my intent. I very seldom leave a poor review for anything, but this one I had to make an exception.

Within walking distance to some restaurants, host always got back in time to any questions.

Bed could have been more comfortable

We appreciated the AC and hot water for showers. The washer and dryer were great too. They were quick to respond to texts/messages.

There was no hot water to wash dishes, minimal kitchen appliances and because the water is not drinkable- it would have been appropriate to have at least one bottle there upon check in. We would have liked to be in an area with walkable restaurants also.

Location was correct as to proximity of grocery store/ATM

We had this reservation for several months, reserved the top floor apt. with the terrace.(Honeymoon suite) Communication was good until we arrived at 8pm in the dark. Driver(Bruce) who picked us up got a text from the manager(Sharine) and told him our room had been changed to the 2nd floor due to the maid mistakenly booked the top floor apt with the terrace to someone else. WE were reassigned the 2nd floor apt, even though we had the door code to #3 given to us the night before. The freezer door sticks closed like a vacuum,and won't open. The microwave turntable does not rotate. There was no dish soap, paper towels, nor cooking oil. The wifi worked intermittently that night, and Not at all in the morning. We couldn't connect with taxi.This was NOT what we paid for! There was supposed to be a welcome book with contact info , restaurants, taxi info, tours etc. in the room. There was NOT. The maid called us a local guy for transport the next morning. Earl...he was cool. Hauled our bags.Took us to digicell to get us BZ sim cards so our AT&T phones would work, then downtown to the wharf. He was with us for 45min. Charged us $25US.

The good: The location was okay. The unit was fairly clean.

No sink in kitchen. No stove or microwave. No hot water in bathroom sink. We were in unit #5. Coffee pot broken. Plastic plates and cups. Plastic spoons and forks. No knives. Very noisey. No butane for Barbeque. Outdoor furniture broken.no plug for bedside light. No couch. Stairs up to rooftop lounge were unevenly spaced, causing me to fall up them.
