I didn't like the fact I had to leave that small piece of paradise so early

This is my favorite place to stay whenever I visit coronal the ocean is actually across the street.

It's very noisy at times. Karaoke at a nearby bar 2 nights a week and a barking dog next door. The windows are only screened, with no glass, so very little sound attenuation.

Clean and comfortable. Close to restaurants and shops (I had no transportation and walked everywhere). Staff was very helpful, courteous, and honest - I paid cash at check-in, and the next day they refunded it due payment made thru Booking.com. on my CC.

The property needs some maintenance.

The property was ok. An older building in an older neighborhood with older streets. BUT, the property was clean. The young lady made sure every floor was cleaned daily. She seemed to take pride in her work. She also made breakfast in the morning for guest wanting to eat (for a very small charge). Besides the lovely view, she was probably the properties best asset.

Now and again the noisy dogs at night, but that’s Belize.

Shared Balconies overlooking the Sea. Laid back atmosphere. Close to town, shops n squares. The staff, Steve, the part time Maid n Mr Slim. All really happy n chatty. Good fun 🙂 Being able to use their FULL kitchen! I gave their cute dog a tiny bit of chicken and bacon. Friends for life! Thank you all for making our stay interesting and fun.

The beds could honestly be a little more comfortable but not the end of the world. Understand what you are booking and there won't be any problems. I had a great time!

Hotel Martin is in a great location and facing the water. A spacious second floor balcony overlooking the bay to enjoy peaceful views with a breeze, have breakfast or dinner and relax with the sunset. Basic rooms and amenities but everything you need. Steve at the front desk is amazing and a wealth of knowledge. Alejandra is very pleasant and keeps the place spotless! We were able to use the kitchen which was great as well!

Not a Comfortable chair in the place! I’m over 65 and I have a bad back. Every single chair in the hotel was uncomfortable for me.

The room was clean and comfortable in. The location was very nice. We could walk to many restaurants and stores.

The super hot weather was almost too much for the in room air conditioner. It struggled to keep the room at a comfortable temperature. But the above normal temperatures were not something anyone could have any control over.

Can't beat the location. Mike and Scott were terrific hosts and gladly accommodated our wishes. The on-site bar was terrific for meeting people both guests and locals. The veranda was the perfect place to eat breakfast and work.

Place is very tired and requires renovation. Missing water knobs in the shower etc. Room is tiny and minimalistic- not a con for one night, but not ideal for a longer stay.

Beautiful location right near the sea. Have lovely terrace. Couple of good restaurants located nearby. Good water pressure in the shower.

AC, lovely host and balcony. Free drinking water and coffee. They did some laundry for us for free! Great view and swim.

It could be cleaner - the guys are still doing some renovations inside and there is some dust, but no big deal.

The guys are super nice and helpful, they let us leave the car on their parking lot when we went to San Pedro :)

Loud AC might bother some people (not us). Barking dogs next door might bother some people (not us).

Location was great. New mattress so comfy bed, but needs new linens. Awesome sunrise from the veranda. Scott is a great host, and the place has a very chill vibe.

Eco-wise, when the owner gets a chance, glass windows that seal would make the air conditioner work more efficiently rather than just slatted blinds. But I realize these updates will take time.

The location is wonderful, right on the waterfront. We had access to the large, shared balcony overlooking the water right from our room for gorgeous morning sunshine and cool evening breezes. Several great restaurants/bars within walking distance for breakfast or dinner. Owner and staff very friendly and attentive.
