The location was just so far away from the main strip of San Pedro/city, and taxi fare was $100-$200 USD depending on the time of day. The resort was beautiful besides the Sargasso sea weed (almost all the resorts had this problem) which made the beach front smelly and inaccessible to our small children.

The staff were wonderful, knowledgeable and very kind. The room was beautiful and peaceful.

Not the property, just the new reality of the sargassum seaweed that takes over from March to October. You can get through the floating weed, but its side effects are tough. Love the place, time your visit!

There were not enough loungers around the pools or at the beach area. The road to town was terrible, very bumpy and muddy. The mosquitos were very bad so be sure to apply bug spray as soon as you get there. The restaraunt menu was very limited so travel to other restaraunts was necessary.

The property was clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly. The pools were lovely but a bit small. All music at the bar was off by 9 pm making for quiet peacefull nights.

This is an property with individual owners. There were lots of residents gathered and chatting about all the complaints they have with the place. There were some unfinished buildings. There was a lot of seaweed and garbage on the shoreline. I noticed them raking, but they left the seaweed and the garbage on the edge. The wifi access was very bad. We only had breakfast at the restaurant and found it uninteresting. If you have a golf cart, make sure you have gas, cause there is none in the north.

Solitude on the beach. Gated at night with a guard. Rocking chairs on porch to enjoy sea view. Nice trees to give shade and hang our hammock on. Staff was friendly. It's a long ride to town (45 minutes), but there are some interesting restaurants within 1/2 hour. We enjoyed the adventures with our golf cart, but if you don't plan, ahead for food. Nice shower and AC.

The staff was very nice Aden was awesome. Very helpful and housekeeping was patient and understanding when we wanted to sleep in. The ground keepers were very nice as well. Would recommend to others and would come back. The Gem restaurant was a plus and was very kind and helpful. Food was really good as well.

Far from downtown San Pedro. One the office staff was unhelpful when trying to cancel an excursion more than 24 hours prior. A different staff member in office covered the following day and was very helpful!

Liked everything. It was a bit of a haul into town but that ended up adding to the adventure for us. It gave us the opportunity to see the island.

I think it was valued well for the cost per night. It is a little out of town… but this what you need to just hear the sounds of the waves!!

Staff was super helpful in planning outings. Ozny and Rosi were awesome! Great drinks! Fun times at the Tiki bar. It was serene… peaceful and beautiful!! We scheduled a couples massage on the beach and it was fabulous!!

Would be nice to have some mosquito repellent candle or spirals for the balcony, but with the repellent is more than manageable (we visit In October). I feel that the resort can do a bit more to clean the front beach, there was quite a bit of debris there.

The Villa is really comfortable. Bed and sofa bed are both equally comfortable. The kitchen is also very well-equipped, we missed nothing. Sparkling clean and great AC in bedroom as in the main living space. Pools are very nice and the area is full of nature.

Did not pick up seaweed and the smell was worse than sewage. Electricity went out several times and no screens to open doors or windows. VERY HOT. Toilet stopped up. One AC had to be fixed. Water was cut off/stopped running several times. No toilet.

Always cooked my own breakfast or had a very early tour. Did not eat breakfast at the resort.
