It was a pity to have to smell the chlorine of the swimming pool, when entering the location, as well as when having breakfast.

The staff were very friendly and the breakfast buffet was offering quite some choices. The beds were comfortable, also was the size of the room.

The coffee in the room and the breakfast weren’t great. Not sure what the meat was. Maybe a cheap version of ham.

The staff were amazing- this ended our 3 week vacay. We were tired and the staff kindly moved our room to a quieter area. The free breakfast was great. Loved the k cups in room. We were able to cast onto the tv. The room was clean and comfy. We ended our trip last year at a Best Western after luxury stops and it was the perfect way to organize and focus on packing, with pool breakfast and gym. We were able to secure late checkout which helped as well. Highly recommend. Only draw back was there really was no where to walk to. That was ok for us- we had a car and we were busy organ anyway.

My children were laughing and playing, not screaming and yelling so to be called at 9:20pm with a noise complaint seems a little extreme. Even the city of Calgary’s noise violation policy is up to 10pm.

It wasn’t the cleanest. The bath was very small and shallow. The main food area was right outside our door so you could hear everything from 6am and all the noise from breakfast.

Double beds in the rooms so great for sharing with friends. Gave a parking permit for parking round the back as our truck was too bit for the underground parking. Staff friendly. Breakfast was included. Toiletries in the room was useful.

The area is too crowded. You should consider eliminating the need to cook the pancakes and waffles as it takes too long . You could have a hot pan for those items or eliminate them all together. Or better still move them over to the toaster area. Even though you can serve yourself from both sides the coffee and pancake/waffle area makes working from both sides difficult. Or maybe the coffee by the toaster area. Generally it needs some brainstorming. It’s even difficult for the staff to replenish supplies. Also please consider adding a pump to increase water pressure in the shower.

That you include free breakfast in the price. Atmosphere was nice and I like the open concept of the design with no dead end corridors.

The first room I was given was directly across from the elevator and quite noisy with people coming and going which triggered my dog to bark constantly.

The staff arranged a move to a different room upon my request. The second room I had was very nice, quiet and clean. Being a member allowed me to park in the secure underground parking.

Service in the restaurant was quite slow considering we were ordering very simple items. I suspect this is because it’s open all day with not that much traffic so very skeleton staff. Hotel is a bit dated in general, but not too bad. Probably wouldn’t mention it if we hadn’t paid such high rates similar to that of a more luxury hotel but assuming that’s because it was stampede week. I have a strong dislike for the bedding, which was a duvet sandwich between a sheet and a bedspread. The inner comforter was not particularly clean as I suspect those don’t get washed nearly as often, but it’s impossible to keep it all together, so that wasn’t all that sanitary. Otherwise, the room was clean upon arrival as was the rest of the hotel.

Great set up for families, especially with the pool in the centre. Easy and open. Staff was all very friendly, convenient items in the little gift shop. Breakfast each day had lots of options. Hotel is in a good location with good access by car and transit. Five minute walk to train station. On-site restaurant with tasty food as well as walking distance to a liquor store. Our kids really liked this hotel. Free parking was also an asset.
