The sink in the bathroom was dirty, the shower is tiny with an awkward tap – for a girl it’s almost impossible to shower comfortably. There were cobwebs, no AC, so during the day it gets really hot as the little house heats up. At night it’s fine because the outside temperature drops. Also, there are two separate taps for hot and cold water – not convenient for washing your face or doing the dishes. A new mixer tap would really help. And a new mirror.

Great location, BBQ, hot tub and lovely owner’s dog, fast internet.

The cabins are old which presents a challenge for electricity. We tried to boil a pot of water for spaghetti on the provided hot plate and it took hours! There is a BBQ as an alternative but in our case it wouldn’t work for our dinner.

Cool little cabins that slept four adults and four kids comfortably. Private hot tub was a nice feature

The shower was leaking and was a little noisy. There was no coffee in the cabin. The hot tub water was cloudy. Not sure if that the water in the area or if it needed cleaning.

The cabin was very comfortable and had everything you would need. The BBQ was very clean and worked well. Bed was comfortable.

The cabin could have done with a more thorough clean, and there was a gap above the door so that bugs could get in.

It would be nice if it was located a little closer to tourist attractions, but still worth the trip.

We love the vintage rustic experience that this place offers. My kids really enjoyed it as well. A good place to disconnect from the stresses of life and just relax.

Unfortunately we found filthy floors full with someone's hair, dirty dishes, squeaky and poor furniture. The water faucets are separate for hot and cold water so it's virtually impossible to get something in between. Too small for a family of 5 although it is suggested as suitable. There's no repellent to keep the mosquitoes away. There's nothing to mop the floor in the bathroom so it gets very messy after kids.

    Clean bed sheets, hot tub.

The bathroom needs a bit of updating and the electric sockets were old but nothing that interfered with a lovely overnight stay.

Very charming wooden cabin in the woods! It is basic (apart from the hot tub!) but we had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the cabin was clean. We didn’t use the shower but it did look dated. Check in was easy and we were pleasantly surprised at how good the WiFi was. The propane BBQ was also really good. We only stayed one night but had a fabulous time.

Shower was extremely small which is to be expected, the bigger problem was the poor water flow and no where to put your essentials, soap, shampoo etc.

Nice little bungalows off the beaten path. Bed was comfortable and the bungalow cooled off quickly once we opened the windows and turned on the fan. Nice quaint little place to stay. Grill and kitchen provided so you can do your own cooking and not have to eat out.

The only super minor thing I noticed was the hot plate didn’t get hot enough to rapidly boil water, hardly a dislike though! Also, I wish I would have gotten the dog’s name, she was so sweet!

Beautiful scenery, nice and quiet, everything was as advertised. Check in and out was hassle free, nice and friendly service. Close enough to things to do, but super cozy location if you want to stay and relax. I loved my stay here, it was the perfect little retreat I needed for my birthday. Hot tub was also amazing and the provided firewood was a lovely touch! Oh, also, I loved the (I believe) owner’s dog, she was adorable and took a nice walk with me my first day there and came back to visit me the next morning! I just lost my precious dog a couple months ago and it was a nice unexpected little treat that brought a smile to my face to have some furry companionship for a little bit.

These are very fine examples of bungalows from the 1940s/1950s when people started to visit the area by car. The wood structure and fireplaces are lovely and authentic!

The very small BR with tight shower room and toilet area; the faucets in both toilet and kitchen have separate hot and cold faucets, not convenient to even wash your hands; the place is too far from main attractions (falls, canyon, main town)

Although the cottage is small, it’s cute and quiet

The bungalow was a pretty old building. The weather was so hot and there were a lot of mosquitoes and bugs. It was so hot in the room that I wanted to open the windows, but not all of the windows could be opened, and the mosquito net was torn in some places. They kindly brought me another fan and sprayed mosquito coils and mosquito repellent, but I had a hard time with the mosquitoes and the heat all night.

    The location was good.
