The young lady in the "lobby" could have been friendlier. I had received email confirmations stating that I could have a ground floor room as requested but parking by the room could not be guaranteed. I stayed 2 nights Aug 14 & Aug 26 - the first night "the only single room left" was upstairs. The 26th I had ground floor.

The room was clean and had the appliances advertised. The bed was comfy.

Noise travels very easily. We had a room on the first floor, and you could hear everything. It quieted down at night, luckily. The room had an odor to them upon arrival. We had two rooms booked, and both had an unpleasant smell. After a few hours, the smell wasn't as bad as our noses got used to it.

The bed was comfortable. Location is good. Walking distance to restaurants.

Abrupt person at check-in, also a bit difficult to understand (English clearly not her first language), TV not working (manager managed to rectify), plastic reusable drinking cups in bathroom -unsure if properly cleaned (not wrapped), only 1 washcloth/facecloth and person at desk did not know what I was asking for when requesting a 2nd one (had to finally show her). Property was undergoing some renovations, so lobby location was not obvious upon arrival.

Comfortable bed, clean. Good enough for one night stopover.

The room was clean, however, it had older rugs on floor which had a smell. The overall condition was comfortable, however, place requires updating. The worst was the Asian lady who was working as front desk clerk. She was either very shy or incredibly rude....no communication skills.

The room was old, but, clean. Location of lodge was excellent in Revelstoke, BC. Good for place to rest for a night when you are travelling through.

The room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom needed a lot of TLC to fix loose dripping taps, no hot water in the sink, fan didn't work, ceiling had lits of mildew, toilet paper hinder not attached.to the wall. Let a plumber spend half a day in there to fix it up.

The fridge could've been bigger but we managed! We weren't told when reserving that the place was under construction or that the hot tub wasn't operating.

There was no breakfast offered at this location. The scenery was nice, good location and quiet.

We booked this trip months before our check in date. We were not informed of the renovations that had been happening since September of last year. These renovations completely removed the breakfast nook that was on the 2nd floor with an outdoor patio that showed the mountains and scenery. The continental breakfast and outdoor view that we booked specifically for was not included. The disappointment was shared by all of us. Very sad. We have come to the Alpine Inn many times because of this view, have tea or coffee and a small meal, it's been so nice! In previous years we were also given passes to the Revelstoke swimming pool. So the steady decline in these wonderful amenities makes it so less likely for us to return in the future.

The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable, and staff very helpful.

There could have been ice. The parking was crowded and chaotic.

There was no breakfast because of construction (since last year) and the great reviews of the breakfast was a big selling feature for us. Otherwise it was quiet, had 2 comfortable chairs and the beds were excellent.
