Reviews of Alpine Inn & Suites 3 stars

We stayed in "Deluxe Family Suite" 1 night only on the way from Vancouver to Drumheller. Location is good. The room was clean. Close to restaurants. Nice for one night stopover for 4.

Nothing

It was quiet. Not too far off the highway- only a few minutes. And the room was spotless.

Can’t think of anything negative. It was all good.

The room was clean and had the appliances advertised. The bed was comfy.

The young lady in the "lobby" could have been friendlier. I had received email confirmations stating that I could have a ground floor room as requested but parking by the room could not be guaranteed. I stayed 2 nights Aug 14 & Aug 26 - the first night "the only single room left" was upstairs. The 26th I had ground floor.

Not much. Place was terrible. Only thing was the Bed was comfy

AC didn't work, room was terribly hot and impossible to sleep in. Non smoking rooms, but should mention everyone smokes right outside the rooms. The rooms shook on and off, I have no idea why, and when it was happening it made me feel sick. The bed linens were dirty!!!!! The sink and the bath tub didn't drain well. Area might have been nice but the place itself felt sketchy.

Rooms are a bit outdated, but contrary to some of the reviews I noticed, mine was pretty clean and bug free! Although, these rooms are old and likely smoked in before which makes them smell a little musky. The bed was big and clean and very comfortable.

The smell in the rooms. Maybe a complimentary water bottle or something? For travellers coming in from far away, there are not a lot of stores to buy emergency supplies from.

Leaving

It was mostly clean.

The air conditioning didn’t work properly, it was basically just a fan blowing air. The tub was clogged or something since the water drained really slowly. It was also really cramped.

The toilet seat was blocked and water come out on the floor

The bed was comfortable. Location is good. Walking distance to restaurants.

Noise travels very easily. We had a room on the first floor, and you could hear everything. It quieted down at night, luckily. The room had an odor to them upon arrival. We had two rooms booked, and both had an unpleasant smell. After a few hours, the smell wasn't as bad as our noses got used to it.

Comfortable bed, clean. Good enough for one night stopover.

Abrupt person at check-in, also a bit difficult to understand (English clearly not her first language), TV not working (manager managed to rectify), plastic reusable drinking cups in bathroom -unsure if properly cleaned (not wrapped), only 1 washcloth/facecloth and person at desk did not know what I was asking for when requesting a 2nd one (had to finally show her). Property was undergoing some renovations, so lobby location was not obvious upon arrival.

Wasn’t cleaned properly. Damp towel and washcloth on the floor. Bag with food in the fridge. Room had a stale food stench. Corner suite with one view facing a wall and the other view at ground level facing the street.
