Although it was a hidden gem for us it was a bit to far from Clearwater (20 min drive). Breakfast was simple and strict between 7-9AM. 2 restaurants of which one was very expensive.

    Beautiful surroundings. Nice cabin.

There are few things I would suggest: There were bettle(not bed bugs but like Rhagium mordox) inside the place even on bed too. We got stung by them. There were mosquitoes which we were not aware of You should carry mosquitoes spray and after mosquitoes bite treatment gels During booking the photo visible is different then log house we got it is not right next to the lake. View was there but it was not like clean view We stayed for three days and 2 nights. I would suggest the staff can call and ask for assurance everything is ok and send house keeping because there are mosquitoes and bettles. Now I felt 760+ for 2 nights is bit expensive.

It was nice stay good place to spend your vacation. Calm, and peaceful. Little expensive

Remote location with poor access road especially if driving from the South, gravel track with pot holes for approx 9KM, no phone signal, WiFi on site but quite weak. Limited menu for food.

Very clean and beautiful setting. Friendly staff. Food quality was OK.

The breakfast was disappointing. The location is rather remote compared to Clearwater. The road is terrible coming from south but ok coming from Clearwater.

The dinner was fine and the chalet was really nice. The view over the lake is great and the atmosphere is peaceful. We appreciate the feeders for the hummingbirds

    The gigantic pillows.

Wonderful location, great staff, we loved being able to canoe on the lake. It's a beautifully maintained resort. The road down from Clearwater also wasn't as bad as we assumed from reading the reviews.

The hot tub wasn’t open which was fine but it was part of the reason I booked here as one of our party wouldn’t be up for lake activities. I don’t remember being informed of this before my stay, which I would have appreciated out of courtesy rather than finding out when we arrived.

I ticked more off my nature sighting bucket list than I ever imagined. The use of the boats was incredible and if we were Canadian I would be booking this place yearly for rest and nature. The restaurant was also great, as were the barbecue facilities.

The only thing we could note was that the mattresses on the beds were functional rather than comfortable.

This was a beautiful place to stay at, and I wished we had stayed longer. The accommodation was lovely as was the whole site and surrounding area and nature walks. We took the opportunity to use the freely availably rowing boats to get out on the lake, and it was so beautiful and peaceful.

I felt that the drinking water had a bit too much chlorine

I had an amazing stay at the cottage. Everything was perfect and exceeded my expectations. The complimentary boats and kayaks were a great addition, along with the playground and recreational facilities. There were plenty of barbecues available, and the hiking trails were absolutely beautiful. The restaurant offered great quality food, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!

No basic cooking supplies like salt, pepper and water.

Loved how remote it was! Completely in the wilderness. Loved the games rooms and the free access to the grounds and lake. Also the biggest hot tub I have ever seen.

There were a few advance/interim payments taken before and during our stay and I am still not sure what these were for or why they were taken. These all righted themselves after we'd left and I assume they were taken automatically by their system but I would have appreciated more info. A few people have mentioned the quality of the approach road. Recommend approaching from Clearwater rather than taking the turn off after Barriere (even if it adds 20 mins to the journey) as while both ends are mainly dirt track, the southern section is considerably worse.

Beautiful location and grounds. Really feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. The lodges are clean and well kept and the whole site has a very relaxed feel about it while also being lovingly maintained. Food and service at the main restaurant was fantastic and it was nice to have free access to the equipment on the lake. Staff were lovely and very helpful: my mother in law left her phone behind and they packed it up and dropped it off at the FedEx site in Clearwater for us, which we appreciated hugely.

The remote location means no where nearby or on site to purchase provisions to self cater in lodge ie. Enjoy bottle of wine sat on verandah.

Good but simple breakfast choice with beautiful place to enjoy it overlooking lake. Enjoyed our supper at outdoor grill area especially watching humming birds drink. Idyllic location.

The bumpy and long windy roads up the mountain… We did the drive from Clearwater town (even though we came from Vancouver) as we read reviews suggesting to do so. The road was still bumpy but apparently its better than using the road directly from Kamloops.

Everything! We stayed only for 1 night and arrived around 9pm, wished we were there longer. Highly recommend to stay for at least two nights! They have hiking trails, jacuzzi, restaurant and a lake with free-to-use kayaks and row boats all within the property! And animals including bears may roam around too. Beautiful starry skies at night as it’s away from cities and light pollution. Great place to stop while on a road trip from Vancouver to Jasper National Park.
