CanadaThe service left something to be desired. We arrived slightly early and they seemed very surprised to see any patrons. All they had to say was that our room wouldn’t be ready for a “very long time”. There also was no housekeeping daily so we kept having to request towels and our garbage filled up quite frequently.

CanadaI could not get Wifi signal in my room. The TV was from the previous decade (no YouTube). The window handle was broken and when I opened the window a few spiders came into my room from the screen outside. I eventually was able to close the window but ended up killing 3 spiders during my stay there. My advice - don't open the window but use the AC instead.
The room was clean. The bed was comfortable though a little worn out. It was quiet most of the time (no parties). It was a relatively short walk from Main Street and the beach in Grand Bend and there was a grocery store in the area (No Frills). Staff was friendly and helped me figure out how to use the AC.

CanadaThe stairs (no elevator or escalator). It was so hard to bring all your stuff up. The entrance smelled of incense, which was pretty strong. Our room had a very strong smell of curry or Indian cooking. We had to buy a room air freshner. It helped a lot with that. There is a microwave in the lounge area. We used to warm up some leftover dinner from the night before. And blew a fuse. The guy had to come and fix it. There are too many things plugged into the one circuit.
We liked the quiet. The room set-up was good. The bed was soft but comfortable. The shower was a nice size. It was fairly close to the beach and a drive away from Pinery provincial park It was comfortable. The room size was good.

Man at front desk was confrontational when I was only trying to tell him his ad on booking.com says “king suite”…which might be confusing to customers since you only get a king bed, not a typical suite.

CanadaSuper hard and old mattress. Pillows lumpy and hard. Bed sheets smelled clean but had many yellow stains. Not even a bottle of water in the room. Small bathroom. Mold in the shower. No iron. No elevator. Overpriced for what you get but I think because there is only a couple places for you to stay in Grand Bend and they take advantage of that. I paid more than $600 for 2 nights.
Location was close to groceries and not far from Main street. Friendly staff. Free parking. Shower pressure was very good. No carpet in the room. Updated furniture.
