Tim is a great host. The location is close to the Bella Coola highway (actually a dirt road). The place is on the lake shore and the restaurant overlooks the beautiful and peaceful lake. Small but cozy room. Easy parking.

The buildings are old and in need of refreshing, but the room was comfortable and the managers do wonders with what they have and their remote location.

Right on the lake and very quiet. The loons were fun to watch, and we were able to kayak right from the dock. The dinners were fantastic - worth the trip in itself. Our patio had a big screen that was needed!

Really friendly owners. Unique accomadation, very comfortable bed. Wonderful views of the lake from our room and the gardens. Freshly prepared dinner and breakfast if you wish to have this. We had both, and it was really good. The room had a kettle and fridge.

There really isn't anything worth complaining about. The buildings and rooms seem dated, but it's all part of the rural-resort atmosphere so I wouldn't say I didn't like it.

The staff were lovely and welcoming, and the dinner was excellent.

A unique place to make a stopover near a lake on Highway 20

Eagle's Nest is a small resort, situated at the shore of a small lake adjacent to a forest in the inland plateau just before/after the sporty part of Highway 20. Even if it might apear somehow old fashioned, the resort is in a good shape and well managed by Tim and his wife, who does a very good kitchen (both breakfast and dinner were perfect). Both are very professional and committed old school hosts who turn your stay into an unforgettable "souvenir".

Rooms were dated and decor overall was quirky and would benefit from remodeling.

Excellent location and really good food and wine. Wildlife viewing was superb. We saw loons, eagles, ospreys, white pelicans and a very tame chipmunk. Outdoor seating areas were great and there was an excellent selection of books covering the history and wildlife of the area. Hosts were super helpful in suggesting things to do and providing directions. We went on the float plane tour of the Rainbow Range, Hunlen Falls and the Monarch Icefields which was amazing. Another interesting place is The Precipice Trail.

Anahim Lake is like a little piece of heaven on earth. The resort is so perfectly located. The service was exceptional and our stay was divine. The rooms are simple but very comfortable with everything that you need. Nothing could beat having a coffee and listening to the birds on the dock as the mist lifts off the lake.

The showe door was not actually a door and it was not closed properly, on top of that it was a bit broken. Price of food and room didn't match what you get, old towels one was a bit thorn..

We stayed there only 1 night. The whole place looks like a ghost town (as do all the area from Williams lake to Bella coola. This resort has planty of potential but it seems like his good days are over. The main loby if high fashion decorated, with white maps and extravagant chandalir. But the food is average at best. I ate a very dried salmo next to some blanted vegetables and my son had Ribs that knew better days. The price unfortunately .Match the decoration not the food. The room was of very simple motel level with old towels and a little one small bottle of shampoo for both of us with no soap or conditioner. But all this I can understand since there are almost no tourists there and manny places so we told struggle. But the owners attitude could be nicer, warmer, hospitable and patient This is something early can be changed.

Room was cramped. Bathroom had a plastic folding accordion door and was dated. Because of the remote location, we had dinner and breakfast on property. The food was good, but the prices reflect the remote location. Our room faced the lake, but a very ugly outbuilding (?!) blocked half of the view. We could hear almost everything from the rooms above, so I recommend paying more for the view and no footsteps.

Beautiful location on Anahim Lake. Dramatic dining room overlooking the lake. Peaceful and quiet. Lots of bird watching opportunities and fishing. Bring bug spray. Canoes available, but it was too windy for us to go out when we were there.

the room was not cleaned properly. there were clothes and personal hygiene items in the drawers. the satellite tv didn't work and he wouldn't even budge on the price to compensate that. so we couldn't even relax after our scary winter drive and cuddle and watch a show.

it was dark couldn't really see but it looked like it would be an amazing place in the summer with outdoor beauty.
