Too bad we had to leave for our next destination.

Inside is wonderful, room, hallways and breakfast space. Very stylish with modern plumbing. The shower was just great. Breakfast was truly amazing. Staff was very helpful and friendly and made every effort to make our stay memorable.

Beautiful historical home. Our host was friendly, welcoming and helpful with suggestions for restaurants and things to see and do. We really appreciated Sonja's speaking English for us. Our room was beautiful, spacious and very comfortable and it came with a little kitchenette. Accommodation was within walking distance of several restaurants as well. Some select restaurants give discounts if you stay at Auberge Bruine Oceane. We were provided with a beautiful homemade breakfast as well.

Absolutely fantastic location. The room was perfect and the bathroom (shower, spa) were the best. The colour scheme was sophisticated and relaxing. The bed was ten out of ten. Since I was off season, the inn did not offer breakfast but the room could have been used to prepare light meals .

The hospitality we received from Sonya and Rosalee was absolutely exceptional. The room had all the amenities you would expect., then bed was very comfortable. They were both knowledgeable about nearby places and restaurants and made appropriate reservations for us when requested. The breakfasts were beyond delicious. It was tough for us to leave them as they went above and beyond expectations.

The only thing that I didn't like was the actual toilet seat. I know, I know...a stupid thing really. However, for those times you need to stay seated longer than 30 seconds, the ridge on the inner rim of the seat was totally uncomfortable on the back of the thighs.

Everything about this place was just top notch!! We stayed in the L’Effet mer room, and it was AMAZING!! The room (the entire inn, really) was decorated beautifully. The bed was so comfortable, and the room truly had the best shower I've ever been able to use. It was large, had shelves for our toiletries, and the water pressure was fantastic. I know that sounds weird, but after using some tiny showers with no where to put my own toiletries, I totally appreciate a nice one. :) Another thing that needs to be mentioned are the breakfasts. Oh my word! They don't come with the price of the room, but they are definitely worth it. There are 3 different courses, and each one is simply delicious. I highly recommend enjoying breakfast at the inn. If my husband and I ever return to Matane, I will absolutely book here again with zero hesitation!

There was nothing we didn't like. Maybe a quick lesson in how to operate the shower?

The room was lovely with huge tub and shower. The only downside to the room was that we had trouble with the coffemaker! Our hostess was very helpful and informative. We both tried very hard to communicate in our respective first languages and got on very well!! Appreciated her attention to detail and her supper recommendations. She also accommodated our need for an earlier breakfast.
