Only four parking places, so chance of getting a parking space is almost nil. You’ll need to park at least 100 meters away from the hotel on public road. Dining area has flies issue. There is fly zapper but not enough to mitigate the issue. Washroom is shared. Ran out of hand soap, yet staff did not refill even after request. Breakfast had boiled eggs on Sunday morning but none on Monday morning. My room was advertised as insuite bathroom. In reality there is a shower with no privacy inside the room with an adjacent sink. There is no toilet in the insuite bathroom. Only two starving pillows are provided on the bed for two people. Which is not enough for a comfortable night’s sleep. There are no air conditioners in the rooms. A very small fan is provided which is simply not enough to cool the room during hot summer days. I couldn’t have slept at night if I didn’t have my own fan.

Nice view from balcony. Relatively better priced compared to other hotels in the area. Short drive to Tadussac and some other picturesque places. Front desk attendant was helpful.

The soundproofing is so bad. The wall is super thin, and you can hear the conversation clearly from the room beside you at midnight. This isn't the right choice if you're sensitive to noise during sleep.

the rooms were hot. The window could not be opened and the air conditioning was only in the corridor I had un unpleasant encounter with a drunken guest who followed me into the bathrooms where luckily there was a lady and so he went away The bathrooms are mixed and insufficient for the number of beds The access door would have a digital key but everyone leaves it open so anyone can enter Music from the pub can be heard It could be more clean

There was a huge bad smell as soon as you get in the place… the dog peeded on the balcony in front of people which mean the owner doesnt take care properly of them. They were running out of water as well… the kitchen closed very early without being told at the check in but thankfully the guy in the kitchen let us order few things on the menu.

the beautiful tables with the great view on the bay are not actually for the guests, only for the resto/bar so you can’t sit there unless you buy something, which is very unclear from the photos and the advertisement. the kitchen is very small for the amount of guests and it was the only common space available during our stay- so no place to relax except for your room and the kitchen from which you don’t have the same view. On the last day we were surprised to find that breakfast which is included in the price was not being provided because of the little amount of guests in the hostel, which was not communicated to us at all (and are we expected to count the people in the hostel?), however the staff did open the breakfast and made us coffee after we called :) the kitchen and common spaces could have cleaned more often, the towels in the kitchen were dirty, but within the acceptable limits for a shared kitchen in a hostel. it was a bit cold in the rooms despite extra blankets, and no possibility to regulate the temperature yourself.

the location is beautiful, overlooking the bay. the cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms was impeccable! there is a dog in the hostel that you can pet and take for walks which was lovely. and the staff is trying to make your stay as comfortable as possible and is very responsive to any requests and questions.
