Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The water had quite a bit of sulfur. We lacked drinking water in our room as a result.

We enjoyed our stay.i
What a beautiful view of the majestic St Lawrence from this lovely rustic small hotel. The dining room and bar area was spacious.. The food was excellent and the service delightful. We had a two room suite with a private balcony and a view of the river. All around very good

The for sale sign set me back when we found the address. The bed covers need to be refreshed, possibly some mattresses.
The decor is a little kitzchy but it made it unique. The woodwork while dated was done well and obviously a lot of thought went into it. I appreciated the Swiss chalet look. We were able to have dinner there the first night as it is a little far from restaurants. The host was very accomodating and is a good cook. He speaks a little English and I speak a little French. Using the translator once in awhile, we were able to converse pretty well. The beauty of the St Lawrence can be seen from the back yard where there are several double swings and comfy chairs. Each day, it was a early morning pleasure to be in the garden with the view.

Somewhat rural location (which was what I was after) five minutes off the main road. Beautiful view of the river. Facilities were not rural though - very comfortable and clean.

The bed was not comfortable and not enough closet place for clothes.
The host is very friendly, the food was very good, the whole place is very cozy, we loved the fireplace and the hot tube. The storage palace for skies was very convenient.

The linens could stand an upgrade likewise the mattresses but not a deal breaker.
The inn is in a beautiful setting with lovely areas to sit outside and enjoy the views. There are no restaurants in the area so we ate in the dinning room where 4 choices are offered upon check in. Our meals were a bit expensive but truly delicious with a wonderful presentation. The view from our table was outstanding. The owner/manager was very gracious and pleasant.

Robin was fantastic and made myself and my daughters very welcome. We enjoyed his cooking and his company. He remembered my daughters' favorite things and had them ready for us before we even sat down for our meals. We loved spending our time at the Auberge, playing billards and enjoying the view. I even had to do an early morning work conference call and Robin noticed and bought me a coffee!

It is challenging to walk up and down between the river band and the B&B place. But the view is worth of it.
We are a group of 9 and we occupied 4 rooms during our stay. Everyone loved the stay. The back yard view is speechless. The dining room is cozy. The hosts are friendly. The food is delicious. We celebrated a friend's 50th birthday. Thank you very much, Robin & Sarah. All the best to you all and your lovely place.

Noisy, no air conditioning and fan would not work when closing lights. WE were charged 50$ extra Even if we had booked a room for 3 on pretend we were supposed to be 2

Smelly room and really old towels, hair dryer didn’t work, many stairs to get to the room, no tv in room, lunch froze in mini-fridge.

The Auberge is well maintained but could use some updates. My own opinion is offer two eggs with the breakfast, little thing but it makes a difference. A T.V in the room would be nice.
location is excellent, view was really nice. Very close to the village. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Went out of there way to make us feel welcomed. Rooms were clean, fridge in room which is nice. Homemade bread was amazing.
